To get myself more active, thought it would be a good idea to get myself involved with this (:
Cat name: Hailstorm

Role wanted: Owlstar Follower
Reasons: The reason for this role is that what is essentially betrayal to his leader would completely contradict Hailstorm's personal code of honour. Also as a diplomatic kind of feline, he would see himself in the role of a peacekeeper and unable to abide such harsh new code inflicted upon the clan, would be unlikely to particularly favour Miststar/pelt's new rule, thus following Owlstar. Similarly, Hailstorm would feel somewhat responsible in the sense that he'd feel obliged to assist the weaker party on conscience, therefore siding with Owlstar.
How suitable is your cat?: Hailstorm has always been a fairly well respected, diplomatic near-senior warrior, a capable fighter Hailstorm is independent but has a lot of heart and honour, follows his heart rather than his head. Is however inexplicably intelligent, likes to question things a lot and has a diplomatic semi-belief in StarClan.
Evidence in Favour: Erm, haven't really got many of Hailstorm ic interacting with any of the clan, but he's present in the Gathering being amiable and here as an independent leader-type click.

I'll accept her for you now  Righty, I've been watching the Drop in thread and it's become apparant that some more accepting is in order Cats who have now been accepted: Shadeclaw - Follower Birchtail - Follower I am following the thread closely, and it seems that some of the rest of you are well on your way to gaining your roles Keep rping. Fantastically, it seems that slowly Mistpelt's word is spreading, so it's possible that the take over will happen pretty soonish XD AT LONG LAST. |

Role wanted: Mistpelt follower or Council (I know, it's a long shot)
Reasons: My reasoning behind this is that Tawnywhisker just seems like she would fit the bill of an ideal Mistpelt zealot. She is an intense believer in StarClan and their supremacy, and has of late adopted the thought process of a most devout FogClanner: that the very ground they walk upon has been made holy and pure by StarClan and the faith of the clan. Any cat who is impure should not be allowed to stain the sacred ground of FogClan territory. She has shed her old ways of pacifism and gentleness almost completely when it comes to defending her Clan. If nurtured in the intensity of her beliefs a bit by Mistpelt, Tawnywhisker would be an ideal FogClan devotee after the takeover.
How suitable is your cat?: Tawnywhisker is, as partially illustrated above, one of the most devout believers in StarClan around. As she begins to more openly show this to the Clan, I think this will gain her a good deal of respect from the other strong believers. Her skill in battle is not one to be doubted by any means, and she will undoubtedly prove useful in the tracking of enemies later.

This list of accepted cats may include cats who didn't apply here, mostly because I'm going off what IN CHARACTER evidence has been shown.

Otterclaw (Pyro) and Cedarpaw (Night) need to tell me their roles, as there was no application here but I'm sure they want something.
We're doing well, guys. The scheduel dictates that the takeover will be happening early January. Followers please watch this thread for instructions, as we will NOT be having a 'follower gathering' and the in character instructions for what to do on takeover will be posted here rather than be rped out. We'll be pretending it's already happened.
It is never too late to join the plot. Followers may be made at any point, Mistpelt herself will choose her council, and rebels will become inevitable but it WILL be neccessary for you to post here with evidence to be put on the list. After the takeover meeting, Owlstar follower will remain open for a short period of time (for cats who realise last minute they don't like Mistpelt), but afterwards will be CLOSED COMPLETELY. If your cat has a disagreement with Mistpelt, they'll have to settle down or leave the clan to fend for themselves.

Role wanted: Owlstar Follower.
Reasons: Well, Sootpaw is rather loyal to any form of authority, despite what he may say. He'll follow Owlstar to the death, even if he pretends he doesn't like to. But he'll also follow Mistpelt if died. But as long as Owlstar lives, she's the highest authority in his mind, and he'll stick with her, especially since Hailstorm (his mentor) is going as well.
How suitable is your cat?: Sootpaw is rather reluctant in his beliefs, and probably would get in a lot of trouble if he stayed behind. He may just be an apprentice, but he understands a lot about loyalty and respects Owlstar a fair bit.
Evidence in Favour: The Takeover Thread where he shows a little favor for Owlstar and his mentor, Hailstorm. And I Think I'll Try Defying Gravity where he shows favor for Blackpaw over Falconpaw, who remind me a little of younger (male) Owlstars and Mistpelts. x3 |

Role wanted: Rebel
Reasons: Otterclaw's very nature is to go against authority. The combination of Mistpelt's rigid discipline and over-the-top belief in StarClan is just asking for him to rebel against. Nothing about her sits right with him. Additionally, his loyalty to Owlstar will make him hate her even more when the takeover happens. The only reason he won't be going with Owlstar is that, to be honest, Reedfoot wouldn't let him betray her (Reedfoot) in such a way in a million years. If she has to pin him by the neck to make him stay when Owlstar gets chased out, she will.
How suitable is your cat?: Ah. And now we come to the part that made me reluctant at first to put him down as a rebel. Now that I've had a chance to roleplay him in stressing situations, I'm confident that he can handle this. As Mistpelt becomes stricter, he'll get more rebellious, to the point where, eventually, he'll make it his sole purpose to make her life a living hell. If he's injured, he won't be without a fight. If he's kicked out, so be it. He'll hunt on the territory, perhaps leaving half-eaten prey lying around where it can be seen. If he has to go against his sister...Well, this event is going to tear a huge rift between them. By the end of this, they'll probably disown each other...And after all the trouble she's given him and WILL give him...I don't think he'll mind taking a crack at her.

Reasons: Fallowfoot is a very strict believer in StarClan. She is one of those religious maniacs who believe everything that is and ever shall be is in the paws of StarClan. I think she could be la close friend to Mistpelt. I've been rereading the original series of Warriors books, and the pairing of Mistyfoot and Silverstream popped into my mind. It sounds really cheesy, but I think Fallowfoot and Mistpelt could make a great pairing. After all, every kitty needs a friend. :3 Even evil plotting-against-their-leader kitties.
How suitable is your cat?: I think Fallowfoot is very suitable for being on Mistpelt's council. As stated, she is a firm believer in StarClan and her morals are tight. With Mistpelt's intense beliefs and Fallowfoot's untouchable loyalty to what she know to be right, I think their personality would clash well together and that the two would make a very fearsome pairing.
Evidence in Favour: I know, I know. It's very important to applying for Mistpelt's council. I fail at this section. I have brought her into the roleplay but it's very brief. I've posted in the takeover thread, clearly shown defying Owlstar, and the gathering. [/blockquote] |

Reasons:
Smokefur is a HUGE supporter of Owlstar. After she saved him from a brutal attack from his father, he pretty much idolized her and would do anything to help her. However, he was out of camp when the takeover happened and was not able to go with the other followers. After some deliberation, he stayed behind to almost keep an eye on the Clan that was left behind. He believes it is his Clan more than Mistpelt's and doesn't believe a word she says about StarClan. He doesn't trust Mistpelt and cannot stand seeing her in power. If he could get to her, he would handle her himself, but for now, he just sticks to scheming and plotting ways to get Owlstar back.
How suitable is your cat?:
Smokefur is a very large cat with thick fur that protects him from most physical attacks. However, he has perfected the art of retreating into himself when being emotionally and physically attacked. He has had to deal with abuse ever since he was a young kit from his father because Smokefur was "different," aka, not his father's son. He is also hopelessly devoted to his Clan and would do anything to protect them, even though most of them would sell him out to Mistpelt at the drop of a whisker in order to protect themselves. Mostly, he protects the idea of what his Clan is supposed to be about, rather than the specific cats in it. What he really wants is to eventually repay Owlstar's kindness to him and help her to come back to FogClan.
