The members and cats were chosen for April towards the end of the month, so we are merging them together. However, although we all know by now who was chosen, we never really celebrated why these characters and peoples got these honours. So now, as we will be doing every time a ~OTM is awarded, I shall declare why this recognision was given.
Member of the Month
As you may know, this was awarded to Slug.
Slug has been with us through some very challenging times, and throughout she has managed to remain bright, cheery and consistently friendly, even when things weren't going to well. She has a great array of unique and fun characters, which she has put a great deal of thought into, and she uses these regularly, in both the pre-roleplay and main roleplay, making roleplaying with her a delight.
She is also here almost daily, which of course is an added plus ;P. Even outside the roleplay, she gives a great amount to the site. She is always welcoming to new members and cheering people up with her sense of humor. This recognision is well deserved, well done Slug
Cats of the Month
The cats of the month were Frostpaw and Finchpaw!
This went to the slightly mismatched duo for their roleplay in the Pre-roleplay:

Seeing as one is of my cats, this is a little awkward, so I will purely cite what other staff members said.
It has been stated that the roleplay these cats were in was a pleasure to read. The characters are also well-developed and it seems as if the roleplay has really helped them to develop.
Frostpaw has already made an impression on one staff member, who believes she will bring an 'interesting dynamic for any other cat in Fogclan'. Frostpaw of Fogclan is a mouthy apprentice, infamous for her sharp tongue and disbelief in Starclan.
Crow stated that the post's "detail and how well developed character seemed." was a greal positive point and that "The interaction with Finchpaw seemed natural, as if the two cats had been played together before."
Finchpaw has been praised as a solid cat with great psychological depth. Finchpaw, medicine cat apprentice of Fogclan, is a thoughtful and logical cat, whose path is guided by his Starclan-obsessed father Rowanheart. The roleplay posts showed great detail and style and excellent character development.
Well done ;P
Gamer of the Month
This went to Ten.
This award was given to her for her activity in the Games thread and for her interesting posts on OOC. Even though she does not take part in the roleplay, she is still a great member of the site.
The reasons for your rewards are no longer a mystery ;P
Next month, there may be a few changes in the award titles, as Gamer is a little hard to choose ;P Look out for that next week!
