Medicine cat apprentice ceremony:

(Leader): (New apprentice), you have chosen to walk the path of a medicine cat. The clan, (Mentor), (Deputy), and I have approved your choice. We think you are more than good enough for it, and I hope we will be able to be proud of your decision. Is this what you truly desire?

(New Apprentice): It is.

(Leader): Then let the clan honour your choice.

(long silence)

(Leader): (Mentor), step forward.

(Mentor): Thank you. I accept (New Apprentice) as my apprentice.

(Leader): (New Apprentice), the way of a medicine cat is difficult. Do you swear to help your clan in any way you can, to keep to the warrior code and to respect all cats and animals within the forest, no matter what?

(New Apprentice): I do.

(Leader): Then I name you (Mentor)'s apprentice. May (he/she) pass on to you (his/her) knowledge and wisdom she has gained. Is there anything you wish to say?

(New Apprentice makes a short speech)

(Warriors chant (New Apprentice)'s name)

'Passing away' ceremony
(Perhaps not so much a ceremony as a farewell. It may well be that we decide that the leader just says a few formal words of goodbye and then cats share their own personal goodbyes. Beliefs vary in Pineclan, with some cats thinking that they go no where and others reborn and whatnot, so try not to be too individual belief specific)

'Passing away' ceremony
Leader: Today is a sad day for PineClan, (cat that died) has passed away. (Cat that died) served PineClan for (how old the cat that died was in moons) moons. We will now take a moment of silence for (cat that died) in honor of him/her.

moment of silence

Leader: Anycat that would like to say their last goodbyes to (cat that died) may say them now.

meeting ends so that cats may say their last goodbyes

You should just say "many moons" instead of a specific amount.
I doubt the leader has time to memorize how old every cat in his Clan is.

What if it is a kit that died? Many moons is too large for a kit that might have died from greencough at the age of 5 moons.

(only use yellow if former deputy died, not for a new leader.)
(after normal meeting call)
leader: this is a sad day for Pineclan. (former deputy) has died from/in (cause of former deputy's death). we will remember his (former deputy skill) and loyalty. we must move on, and appoint a new deputy. there is a lot to be done and we must appoint our new deputy, and i have selected (new deputy name) for his (new deputy's quality) and (other new deputy's quality). (new deputy), please step forward.

leader: you have earned your warrior name many times over. your help is a great gift. are you willing to accept your fate and take on this huge responsibility?

new deputy: i am

leader: than, you are still (new deputy name), but deputy of Pineclan. and may you cope as well as (former deputy) did with his place as a deputy. may you hunt well as you follow the path of leadership, the leadership after me. but thats only if you are not gone first, every cat hopes you wont be. serve well. loyalty and clanship is what binds us together. now starts your deputy dutys, may your every pawstep help Pineclan faithfully. do not be afraid of your new rank as deputy.

DEPUTY CEREMONY :00

Leader: Cats of Pineclan, I call your attention. (Former Deputy's name) has left us and while we grieve over his/her loss, (former deputy's name) would not want us to grieve long. Among you is a cat with strength, loyalty, and bravery fit to help the elders and I lead this clan. After discussing with the elders, I call forth (chosen cat's name) to serve as the new deputy of Pineclan. Does anyone disapprove of this choice?

(clan has the option of speaking out or staying silent. This includes the chosen cat, who can either accept or reject the position)

If they stay silent:

Leader: (Chosen cat's name), you have impressed your clan greatly over the moons you have served us. You have earned this position through all your hard work. Do you swear to uphold the responsibilities that come with being Pineclan's deputy?

Chosen cat: I do.

Leader: And do you swear to act justly?

Chosen cat: I swear.

Leader: Then, you, (Chosen cat's name), are the new deputy of Pineclan. May you serve for many moons to come.

Clan: (chants cat's name)

If the clan or cat rejects the choice:

Leader: (dips head) The elders and I will reconvene in order to choose a deputy all of you will find sufficient. (leaves to discuss with elders)

Leader Ceremony

IF deputy is chosen (in my opinion, the deputy doesn't necessarily become the leader, if there is another cat the clan/elders think would do a better job. This probably doesn't happen that often, but I just think it... it makes sense. To me. ^^; )

Oldest Elder: Cats of Pineclan, I call you to the (highrock) for a very important ceremony. (Former Leader's name) has passed away and while Pineclan will miss his/her leadership, there is no time to waste. Pineclan is strong and we need a strong leader. The Elders and I have discussed this situation and we find (deputy's name) a perfect candidate for this position. (Former Leader's name) saw in him/her the potential of a leader-- now (deputy's name) will fulfill that potential. If there are any objections, please, speak now.

If clan is silent:

Oldest Elder: (deputy name), please step forward.

Deputy: (steps forward, head bowed in respect)

Oldest Elder: Repeat after me. I, (deputy name), promise to use my power to steer Pineclan toward greatness and happiness. I will help unite my clan with loyalty and faith in each other.

Deputy: (repeats)

Oldest Elder: If I ever abuse this power, I will respect the clan's decision to relieve me of my responsibilities. I will always listen to the advice and opinions of my older elders, senior warriors and clanmates.

Deputy: (repeats)

Oldest Elder: I promise to be prideful of my clan, and to remain loyal through the coldest leaf-bare and the bloodiest battles.

Deputy: (repeats)

Oldest Elder: Then, as oldest elder and on the behalf of Pineclan, I grant you the name ___-star.

Clan: (chants new name)
