so a few people who have chosen to remain anonymous have come forth with some (mostly OOC) ideas for fof. after weeding through of them (let me tell you, some of those ideas were just 'wtf' worthy) i'm posting the best/ones that make sense and y'all can give your opinions. :D
FSTs: "Fan Soundtracks". Namely, fans work together to create soundtracks (of ten or so songs) to represent something they are a fan of. In relation to FoF, the FSTs would be about the site in whole, characters, clans, plots, single members, etc.
"Secret Santa": I'm sure you all know how this works in real life. xD Here on FoF it'd be similar, with people getting names of other members and working on some sort of gift for them. Graphics, writing, whatever.
Contest: we already have the skin/banner contest going on (speaking of, more people need to participate in that. :|) but other contests such as one-shots or short stories or things like that. Get a panel of judges and some entries and bam, you have some competition going on. x3
Olympics: playing on the contests thing. A large contests once a year with different categories one could enter. Special prizes, once we think of them. x3 Things like karma or extra character spots.
Site Project: this was suggested along with the soundtrack thing. Where all of the members are working together to complete one project. x3
