Beliefs|
At first Harefoot was unsure about StarClan. Sure, there was plenty of evidence regarding dreams and the giving of nine lives -- but it was hard to believe that the stars he often looked up to at night were actually ancestors glimmering down at him.
Now the tom is confident in his belief: he believes positively in StarClan. Perhaps there is a way of changing his opinion, but for now, Harefoot knows StarClan is a way of life. His ancestors, his kin and all that he has known that have faced death are all still watching over him; protecting him.

Appearance |
Harefoot's build is rather small, slender; this is an advantage for his speed, as he is very quick on his paws. His size is of average but some consider him to be slightly feminine, which can be very annoying; he makes up for it with his powerful muscles which are easily underestimated. All whiskers are long and silky white. This tom's paws are rather small and delicate, and he has a long, sweeping tail. His ears are a little above average-sized and can quite easily pick up quiet sounds.
The fur on his skin is short and glossy. Harefoot's pelt is mostly a light shade of brown, darkening in certain places -- like his face and paws, but only slightly. When the light faces Harefoot he looks almost ginger, or a russet colour. But the true colour of his coat is brown, like cedar. He has a few thin black stripes on his pelt -- one of which being rather thick going across his chest -- mostly on his back and legs.
Around his eyes and muzzle seems to lighten the most, into a more pale brown, ginger-ish when the light hits it. These odd markings blend in with the rest of his coat and make Harefoot a rather attractive cat overall. Finally, both eyes are a shocking pale green; they lighten slightly into a paler leaf-green around the rim.
Personality |
Stubborn. Hotheaded. Proud.
These three words describe Harefoot perfectly; in his main personality, that is. Harefoot is a stubborn cat, sometimes refusing to do a particular thing that he does not want to do -- even if this order is from the leader or deputy. He causes arguments a lot and is not afraid to voice his opinion. Far too proud, Harefoot can easily do the wrong thing because pride and stubborn-ness overtakes him. He is hotheaded and arrogant, usually among the first to cause an argument.
Even though some may see this as if Harefoot doesn't mean to be so full of himself, he quite enjoys it. Harefoot sometimes likes to annoy others just for the sake of it and tends to make almost the entire Clan mad at him. He doesn't interact much unless he is spoken to or has to. Harefoot holds a grudge for a long time and very strongly dislikes losing things, always wanting to keep going until he is satisfied, even if the effort his hopeless.
However, although many cats can't reach it, Harefoot does have a soft side. This is mainly directed at those that are much younger, such as the kits and apprentices, and isn't seen too often. Harefoot can be thoughtful and sensitive, loving and caring, towards those he cares for the most. But it is indeed rare, unless he is very close to the cat. Despite his stubborn act, Harefoot is forever loyal to his Clan -- though others can't see this too easily.
Harefoot, when he first came to the ForestClan cats, was unsure of his belief in StarClan. But as time passed and the new Clans were formed, his belief increased until now, where he truly believes that the warrior ancestors are real. Any cat that does not believe makes Harefoot think they are mad. How could he have lived without knowing of the Clan above them, knowing that his father was watching Harefoot all the time after he died? One thing is for sure. He won't change his belief soon. If he ever does, he will think hard about it until he is sure.
Skills |
Harefoot has a good skill in running. He is also a decent fighter; however, his hunting skills are slightly lacking. This tom is also quite a fair swimmer due to his slender build.
History |
Kithood: Harefoot was born a loner, then named Hare. He was firstborn to his mother, Silver, and his father, Night. Moments later his brother Thorn was born, and then his sister, Misty. Hare lived a normal life apart from the fact that his parents were split -- Night was a loner and Silver was a kittypet. The three kits lived in an old, abandoned Twoleg barn with their father, occasionally visiting their mother who was delighted to see them.
Apprentice-age: When Hare turned six moons he and his siblings were taught by their father to hunt and fight. Night knew quite a lot and taught his kits everything. Hare was learning to become as stubborn as his father, developing a hotheaded and proud personality. His sister was shy and quiet and his brother was brave and quick-tempered, but Hare seemed to be the leader of the three whenever their parents weren't around.
At the age of ten moons Hare and his siblings were put through a disaster. A badger attacked Night when he was out hunting one day; Misty had witnessed everything and run straight to her brothers, explaining it all from the start when she first scented a rank smell. Hare had no idea what to do; then he thought of his mother. He led Thorn and Misty to Twolegplace where Silver was sitting on her fence and let out a delighted mew when she saw her kits. Hare told her everything and she was devastated. The three kits were given a choice: live on their own or with Silver.
Warriorhood: By the time Hare reached his thirteenth moon he still hadn't decided what to do. He visited Silver every day and stayed with her for hours until returning to the barn again with his siblings. Finally, one day, Thorn declared he was going to live with Silver. Hare and Misty were shocked but accepted this; then Hare finally decided he wanted to stay living as a loner, hunting in the forest. Misty was torn between the two but she stayed with Hare.
Hare protected his sister all the time and they occasionally visited their mother and sister. Until one day. When Hare was sixteen moons old he and Misty went to see Silver and Thorn, only to discover they weren't there. The monster drove away just as they arrived and Hare thought he caught a glimpse of his mother's silver tabby fur, but he couldn't be sure. He decided that the Twolegs took their kin away and they never came back.
However, Hare and Misty lived on as loners, despite their strong grief. They were fairly happy, always protecting each other from any threat and sometimes meeting other passing loners or rogues.
At Hare's nineteenth moon, he ventured out into a large land to discover many cats. Curiosity got the better of him and he asked them who they were. ForestClan? Something was drawing Hare toward them, but once he learned of StarClan he flicked his ears and declared they were mad.
But as days passed Hare learned more about these cats and decided that StarClan were real. Misty, who had also heard, said that every ForestClan cat was crazy and she didn't want to get involved with them. Hare did, though. He was upset to part with his sister but he couldn't get rid of that feeling, that feeling that was driving him toward these strange cats.
When the four Clans were formed Hare became Harefoot, a member of FogClan. He still lives on now and hasn't seen his sister since the day he became a warrior.
