Sandstripe sighed softly, ears perked upright. "Aw, come on.... I'm still pretty much an apprentice! Pity me, just a bit?" she replied loudly, making a fake face of distress. Blue eyes glimmering, the she-cat finally began licking herself down, the tangy droplets of water soaked into her pelt now - beginning to take affect on her taste buds.
As Stormclaw climbed back up, Sandstripe quickly darted from side to side playfully, until finally she settled - allowing the charming tom to settle beside her, leaning his side into hers lightly. His apology was certainly sincere.
"Of course, Stormclaw, she repled softly. "No need to look all pitiful yourself, no is there?" she added, grinning.

"There is no pity, Sandstripe. Pity is for the weak." He dead-panned, the teasing tone gone. Then he smiled, a wicked, handsome smile. "But you can't help being pitied, sometimes, can we?" A ruefull smirk lit his face up, the darkness gone, yet still there; in the corners of his eyes.
With a deep sigh, the facial expressions of super doom slid away, leaving a deffenseless kit behind. "I am guilty, m'lady," He started. "Not pitiful." Stormclaw licked down his shoulder fur, eyes watching Sandstripe the whole time. Then he stopped, tongue sticking out in mid-lick, eyes wide as dinner plates, his pupils expanding and taking over his lucious mint green iris'. "Look." He whispered, pointing with his tail, eyes tracking something.
There, not too far away, on the river bank sat an owl, pearched on a rock, gazing at them with questioning amber eyes; it's white feathers ruffled in the breeze.
"I thought owls came out only at night." Stormclaw whispered to Sandstripe, ears back.
