ic: Lynxstorm's head popped up, the uses of his name finally registering through the thick haze of swirling thoughts, memories and equations. As is often the case with spaced-out beings, his brain had somehow managed to retain the missed conversations and soon filled him in. Annoyance set in immediately, and the large fluffy warrior opened his mouth in a sarcastic drawl "Surely two or so are enough, Bramblefang? It's hardly a crisis, and you are all big warriors." His typically deep and insightful comments were reduced to the annoyed protests of a child who doesn't want to go to bed early-he knew he had no choice, but was going to badger and jab his way through it all anyways. This being the case, Lynxstorm stood slowly and shook him self off with a brisk swish that sent spare hairs flying out into the air around him. The young warrior then set off towards Bramblefang with a look of contemptuous this-is-such-an-inconvenience on his face.

Tigertail picked up at the deputy's suggestion, glad for a chance to actually go out. Without hesitation he followed the brown tabby, casting a glance to Lynxstorm and Bearclaw as he sat down next to Bramblefang. His ears flattened as Bearclaw was called off for something else and his lips raised as Lynxstorm tosses a lazy excuse in their direction. That young warrior should be glad for a reason to get out and do something, Tigertail thought to himself.
"Don't grump 'bout it, Lynxstorm." he muttered before the deputy said anything. "Ya should jus' listen ta' ya' deputy n' join us fer some badger huntin'! 'Sides, Bearclaw can't make it, so a set o' paws is needed ta' take his place. And Look, dere' ya' are." (sorry for the powerplay.) [/size]

Lynxstorm made only the slightest of flinches at Tigertail's heavy rough accent, but his reaction to the cat's words was unadulterated. "It is hardly necessary to take such an authoritarian and opprobrious tone with me, Tigertail. If my memory serves me correctly I have just as much right to authority as you in the current ranking systems." Lynxstorm hated being trivialized, and everything about the cat screamed against it. His fluffy coat, tamed into a simply thick covering, increased his size and highlighted the sharp, confident twirl of his tail as he arched it in a half-circle over his back. His face possessed power that could rival that of nearly any cat. A true reflection of the passionate, brilliant soul that inhabited Lynxstorm, his face was framed by long hair. It sloped sharply in at angles, furrowing into jutting but not ugly eyebrows which drew the attention down to his eyes. If Lynxstorm's face burned with passion, his eyes were a supernova. Bright, intelligent, and positively shimmering with passion, intelligence, and enrapturing power. With such features, a precocious manner and a tendency for infuriating or otherwise inciting comments kept Lynxstorm from bearing the brunt of his young age most of the time. When he did, he either abandoned the situation and retreated into his thoughts (if the conversation was deemed unimportant) or proved he was worthy of just as much respect as any other cat (if the conversation was deemed worthwhile). Oh, and also? Lynxstorm glared.
ooc: uh...ran out of time at the end? D:
