The spotted tabby followed her mentor out into the training hollow. Oh, StarClan. He scared her, Crowclaw did. So...dominating. And so quick to lash with his tongue. Palepaw avoided him whenever she could. Even Rabbitstep, she thought, was easier to be around than him. Her tail was nervously swishing back and forth, and she had not dared to say anything on the trip here. But she hoped that today he would teach her some advanced skills, as she coming up on her eleventh moon, close to warriorhood. She did not even dare to sit down as she waited for the black tom to say something, reviweing her fighting moves in her head.

Crowclaw stepped into the hollow and turned to look at his apprentice. She could be so... so foolish at times. Aren't apprentices supposed to take after their mentors, or something like that? He closed his eyes and shook his head, clearing away all negative thoughts. Calmly, he opened his eyes and looked down at his apprentice. She was staring back up at him, eyes wide, not even sitting down.
Shaking his head again in irritation, Crowclaw moved quickly to the other side of the hollow, knowing that the other cats' eyes were still on him, and turned around and settled into a crouch, his tail flicking back and forth. She was still staring at him, of course.
"Come on, then." He said impatiently. "Come at me. I want to see what you've learned so far." Crowclaw chuckled darkly. "Or are you too scared?" He asked in a teasing tone.

OOC: you sound fine, Nightfall, :3
Palepaw felt a bit embarrassed. Maybe she was slightly scared. Of course, Crowclaw wasn't incredibly skilled , but he was a warrior and he had more experience and... Focus, Palepaw, you won't get anything done by worrying about it, she told herself sternly. She set her large eyes above her mentor's head, seeming to stare off into space, but in fact she was calculating the best way to attack him. Hmm, what to do? Pounce or run? Palepaw came to a descision. Only flicking her eyes towards where she was aiming the moment before she pounced, the thick-furred apprentice sent herself into the air and in the direction of a sleek black-pelted shoulder.
