[;;Cedarheart]
[//medicine cat of pineclan]
Gender;;she-cat
32 Moons young
she works with medicine
her herbs are stored in PineClan
she follows...
Like many of the PineClan cats, Cedarheart overall does not believe in StarClan. She found it silly as an apprentice to believe and follow commands of something found in a dream, or not even heard or seen at all. That said, she doesn't mind the beliefs of other cats and tries to explain to harsher cats that their beliefs are their own, and not something they should be judged for unless they're arguing or enforcing their beliefs on us. She gives the same respect to the cats who believe in StarClan as the ones that don't. Being a Medicine Cat, she does go along with the other Medicine cats once a month, mostly to go herb gathering on the way back, but also to have the time to chat with the other Medicine Cats, and exchange conversation. She sleeps outside and away from the others overnight however.
Cedarheart does believe in the fact that the spirits of the fallen cats are out there, but she doubts that there is a Clan in the stars telling them how to run their own Clan.
Cedarheart believes more so in other cat's current changes and how they act as to what the future will bring. Similar to karma, and it’s effects. And most importantly, she does believe in her medicines, and if things are done correctly they'll work.

she looks like...
Cedarheart is a short-haired Brown/Ginger tabby to put it simply.
She has a cream, almost white colored fur, overtop it seems are strands and lines of caramel-orange and along with an orange-ish chocolate brown. However most of her fur along her back is just strands of different color fur in no particular pattern. Her fur is soft and slightly furry around her neck and chest, but mostly the classic short-haired tabby fur, it stays the same pretty much year round, which in harsh winters can leave her rather cold as it doesn't provide a lot of warmth to her.
Her patterns include a cream colored chest, with the bands of brown coming almost full circle around her, however stopping before her chest, leaving a interesting appearance. Right underneath her she has brown speckles half way up her front legs, and most of her hind legs are covered in the chocolate brown. The very ends of her legs are colored in a very yellowish cream color. On her head, by her ears and above her eyes is the lighter brown, with brown stripes coming about an inch above the top of her eyes, her ears are tipped with the dark brown. The end of her nose and most of her mouth are covered with the cream. Her tail has the bands of lighter brown and darker brown. Her eyes are a dark and rather bold green, with shades of dark green and grass green throughout.
Her whiskers are slightly long, with a bit of droop to them, and the same light cream or white color.
Cedarheart is rather tall and thin, her muscles are built for long-distance running, due to the fact that some of her herbs aren't very close to camp. Her legs and body are adapted to her running and speed, for many reasons, not so much fighting, her muscles however can get her up in treetops and climbing, as well as running to places at a reasonable time, mostly this is from having to run to help other cats in an emergency, climbing and running sometimes great distances to get the herbs she needs in a reasonable time. Cedarheart has never had to run into a battle, but she'd have worse chances then the warriors simply for her lack of training and strength, agility is her main focus.
she acts like...
[;;loyalty, pride & intelligence ]
Cedarheart's personality is a interesting and oddly mixed combination of loyalty, intelligence, and pride.
She is a cat very loyal to her beliefs, herself, her friends/family and her Clan, willing to die fighting for any of them. Often in conversation she'll be into an argument because she doesn't mince words, and clearly states what she thinks, which in some cases can mean she's quick to defend herself or anyone/anything else she is loyal to, which can be insulting to other cats, but possibly also get her in trouble from time to time.
She is also a very smart kitty, she knows a lot of things about not only her medicine, but other around camp issues and things, however she refuses to share things that she thinks is inappropriate or she does not want to. With her smarts, comes an ability to be sneaky and sly. She has a pretty big talent with coming up with excuses and cover-ups on the fly, however again, she tends not to lie unless necessary- but she tends to be very general when asked with an uncomfortable question, which leads on to that she knows more then she's telling.
Generally, Cedarheart is very kind towards cats she knows, and cats that have the same respect for her as she does to them. Her elders and leaders have her greatest respect, however she does have a softer spot for young apprentices and kits. She tends to also help out around camp whenever she can, and unless busy with her work, you could rarely find her where you'd find a normal medicine cat.
Cedarheart overall is a proud, intelligent and kind cat. She says what she means, and she means what she says, however most of the time her intentions are different then what happens.

she has experienced this...
Cedarkit was the only kit of the bunch that didn't wrestle too much and play fought. She, at an early age outwitted her brothers in conversation, thus acted much more mature then her age. She strived to become a Medicine Cat, as she felt Warrior duties wouldn't be fulfilled as well as the Medicine Cat's duties would be. Thus she spent much time in the Elder's den as a kit, talking to one of the previous Medicine Cats. When she was accepted as a Medicine Cat Apprentice, she felt it was her duty to learn all she could and become the best Medicine Cat ever.
Cedarpaw was very, very proud. Often on the outs of other apprentices because she felt she was special and didn't run around chasing squirrels. When she was being chased by a fox while out trying to prove she could collect more herbs then her mentor, to warrior apprentices came to help her by distracting the fox. She then realized that both jobs required a separate responsibility, and since they were a very different job, she became more respectful to the warriors, as well as the apprentices.
Cedarheart in the beginning of her Medicine cat years, spent time trying to patch up bad relationships and choices she made as a kit. She has a balance of respect for all cats who are respectful to her. However, she still has a hint of that glowing (and obnoxious) pride that had led her on to problems in her past.
wanna see her in action?
Cedarheart’s ears arose as she turned her sleepy head towards the entrance of her den. She noticed the two little pairs of paws at the opening and straggled to her feet. ‘’Mousekit, Streamkit, what are-‘’ her sentence was interrupted uncontrollably by a tired yawn, ‘’Excuse me.’’ She said, shaking her head to wake herself up, ‘’what are you doing guys doing here, it’s almost moonhigh!’’ She said popping her head out of her den to notice the moon in its highest point of the sky.
‘’Cedarheart!’’, Mousekit meowed, ‘’Come quick! Pebblekit has cut her paw!’’ Streamkit finished for her brother, and they darted towards the nursery, acting as if Pebblekit’s whole foot was torn up.
Cedarheart nodded, ‘’Alright, I’ll be right there, one second.’’ She said heading into her den again. Glancing around, she grabbed first, the large leaves she used to carry the medicine in from place to place. In it she put cobwebs, poppy seeds and Dock. Afterwards, she bundled up the items and carried it off, running toward the Nursery.
She poked her head inside, and then crouched down the entrance to step beside Pebblekit. Her eyes provided both sympathy and reassurance to the frightened kit. She laid beside Pebblekit, who was lying on the ground with her paw outwards.
Cedarheart’s jaws curved into a slight smile, the cut was just a little prick from hitting a sharper stone, but she tried to sooth the kit in the best manner she could. ‘’Pebblekit, what did you do to your paw, training so hard to be a warrior that you misplaced your paw?’’ She said with a friendly tone as she unwrapped her package.
Pebblekit’s mew was full of her own fear, ‘’Y-Yes, Cedarheart. I walked on a really sharp stone, am- am, I going to die?’’ She said with tears forming in her eyes.
Cedarheart purred quietly with laughter, ‘’Ha-ha, no-no Pebblekit, you are not going to die.’’ She said trying to avoid saying it was just a little prick, to save Pebblekit from feeling so embarrassed.
Heading over to Pebblekit, she ran her tongue gently over the scratch to make sure dirt pieces weren’t in the small wound.
She then took out the dock leaf and placed it in her mouth, chewing it up as harshly as she could. Then, when it was a pulp, she tried to speak as best she could, ‘’I’m going to put this on your paw, Pebblekit,’’ she said, explaining what she was doing she found, always helps relax the kits, and maybe teaches them a bit about medicine if they can remember. ‘’It’s going to help nasty things from getting inside there,’’ She said, in words that a kit could understand. After explaining, Cedarheart gently placed the pulp of the dock on her paw, then trotted outside to spit the rest out, not wanting to teach the kits bad manners of spitting.
After that, she wrapped the wound with a bandage of cobwebs, ‘’these are made from those little eight legged tiny things you see near trees and in dark holes, their called cobwebs.’’ She said to the kit, holding out her paw with the remaining cobwebs on it.
Pebblekit used her non-scratched paw to reach out and prod the cobwebs. ‘’Eww, they’re all sticky.’’ She said.
Cedarheart nodded, ‘’That way it’ll stay on your paw, and it’s so well mashed together that little pieces of dirt won’t get very far.’’ She explained a bit more.
Cedarheart then licked her paw, and the poppy seeds on it, ‘’Pebblekit, lick these off, please.’’ She spoke kindly, and Pebblekit hesitantly did as commanded. Cedarheart finished with a smile and rubbed the rest of the seeds back onto the leaf she carried it with, ‘’Pebblekit! My, you did such a great job!’’ she said nuzzling the kit between its ears. ‘’Even strong warriors sometimes can’t do that great of a job!’’ She congratulated.
Pebblekit gave a proud smile, ‘’Really?!’’ She said with some surprise, ‘’I’m going to be the best warrior ever! Thank you Cedarheart!’’ the kit said with a gleaming expression.
Cedarheart gave a warm smile as she stood up, ‘’You’re welcome Pebblekit, come see me tomorrow please? And try your best to keep your strong warrior training from irritating that paw of yours again.’’ Cedarheart finished before taking the leaf back and exiting the den, heading back to her own to get another wink of sleep before the sun replaces the moon.
