Beliefs|
Beaverstripe seems to have different beliefs on different days. They all narrow down to two basic beliefs: believing or not believing.
When he does believe he only uses StarClan as an emotional crutch, so to speak. StarClan are the only cats that remind him he is not alone, yet they do not speak to him. They're perfect for his fears a friend that isn't really there. The tom has this belief when he is depressed, missing all of those he cared for, hoping they are in StarClan now, watching him.
When he doesn't believe ( which is most of the time ), StarClan is nothing but a fool's mind trick. There is too much suffering in the world for those cats to exist. If there was a StarClan, why would they take away all he cared for? Not protect him from those cats trying to kill him?
Beaverstripe will flat out lie to you and tell you he does believe in StarClan though. The last thing he wants is to be somehow kicked out of the Clan for not believing.

Appearance |
Beaverstripe is a normal sized cat, not big nor small. The rest of him have many different sizes, starting with his small paws attached to long legs. He has a long, flexible tail, and on the other end of him you can find large ears.
The tom is, at first glance, a brown tabby. Those dark brown, pretty much black, stripes swirl around his coat, criss-crossing at many points, as if someone took some chocolate syrup and drizzled it onto his brown fur. Beaverstripe also looks like he stepped in white paint, for the bottom of his paws are white. His face has three different colors on it, starting with the base brown, and fading into a tan around his eyes. That tan fades into white on his muzzle with black spots lined where his whiskers sprout. Above his nose, a small dark brown square sits, fading to his base color.
Beaverstripe's eyes are a vivid green, tinting with a yellow at the edges. The whiskers are completely white and long. The tabby's pads are black and harden due to the hard streets of the cities that he once lived in. At the very tip of him, his nose is a very dark pink.
Personality |
Beaverstripe's past makes getting to know him a very difficult thing to do. He does his best to avoid any contact with a cat, and only when he does, its only when its all business. Never any 'How is the pretty running?' or even a simple 'Morning.', nothing of the sort. Beaverstripe is too afraid to interact with cats more than he has too, because a bond might form. After losing everyone he ever cared for, he couldn't live through losing another cat. Sadly, life has its cruel tricks, and he has developed of fear of being alone. If one set of cats are after him, who knows how many more there are, just waiting for him to make a mistake and end his life?
The tabby's past has also affected his trust of other cats. Its not as extreme as his fears, but putting him near a new cat is like putting him with a badger. Other cat's better be careful around him, though. If you do anything that Beaverstripe takes as a threat, you might just find yourself in StarClan. He has almost no morals, only acting like he follows the Warrior Code so he can stay in the safety of numbers.
StarClan help you if you get in the way of this distrustful, paranoid cat.
Skills |
Beaverstripe has learned the many ways of fighting ( Most are cheap shots, but hey, a fight's a fight ). Its the thing he is the best at, but do to the city not having much prey, his hunting skills aren't as good as they should be.
Sneakiness and stealing are skills, not good ones, but he has them. In the forest its harder to be sneaky with all these things that snap and crunch, but the forest allows more places to hid to grab something he might want.
History |
[ kithood ]
There is no better life then being born in a dark, cold alleyway under a dumpster with hardly any food.
At least, it was in the streets.
Beaverstripe, named Clyde at this time, lived this exact scenario. He and his brother, Light, were born to Snazzy and Dog, two rogues that did anything they could to survive. Stealing, lying, running, killing; you name it, they done it. This caused Beaverstripe's 'hometown' to change quite a bit, never staying in one place at any given time. And when they took that change and stayed, something bad always happened. According to his mother, Beaverstripe and his brother had a sister, but some vengeful cats kitnapped and killed the poor she-cat, just to get back at his thieving parents. That, of course, was just the start of things to come.
[ adolescence ]
When the tabby tom hit six moons, the training began. Dog taught them the ways of the streets; be strong and live, be weak and die. Sure, it was harsh, but everyone always says the truth hurts, right? So, his father trained Beaverstripe and Light in the art of stealing, lying, fighting, and running. Hunting wasn't at the top of the list for these cats, all because of another thing he learned: Why get your own when you can steal it from others?
While he was training, his mother disappeared after going to 'hunt'. Dog searched everywhere for his beloved she-cat, only to come back broken-hearted ( Who says a cold blooded cat can't have feelings? ) with every search effort. Time went, and the trio of cats soon left, fearing for there own lives at staying at one place for so long. The days soon turned back to normal, and training went on.
While getting some... 'real-life training', Beaverstripe meet a young she-cat, a just a moon older than a kit. Her parents were attacked by a two-leg with a strange object that would make a loud band and kill cats in one blow and had no one else to turn too. His father had told him that Queens and kits were the one thing he refused to harm, knowing what it was like to have a mate and kits of his own. Dog took the she-cat, named Bonnie, in and began to train her with the rest of his little family while the moons slowly pasted and the cats grew older.
[ adulthood ]
When Beaverstripe was old enough to survive this harsh life himself, he and Bonnie left together, leaving his father brother in the past and moving on. He arrogantly moved from area to area, stealing, lying, and even killing to get what he wanted when he wanted. Along the way, he and Bonnie had fell in love and became mates, planning to raise a family together and spend the rest of their life's together.
Beaverstripe would have never guessed how short that time was.
Along the way of his arrogance, he messed with some cats who wasn't just going to roll over and show their bellies. While the tabby was out drinking from a puddle, the cats attacked and killed Bonnie. Beaverstripe only thought two thoughts when he saw what was left of his mate.
'What have I done?' and 'I'm next.'
The tom fled as quickly as he legs took him, traveling from place to place in fear of being killing around every corner. Along the way, he learned that his father had been killed by a monster, and his brother had also been harshly killed by a two-leg. After about a moon of playing cat and mouse, Beaverstripe ran into a what the cats who lived there called a forest. It was nothing he had never seen before...so peaceful and full of so much prey! As he settled her, he heard of the Clan cats who were accepting members into the clans. He quickly joined FogClan, becoming Beaverstripe and starting a new -- hopefully better -- life.
