KARMA Some sites have a shop system where certain amounts of "money" get you special things for your characters. Here at FoF, the amount of Karma you have allows you to have special features as well, but you're not trading in the karma.
This is a fairly new feature, so please be patient while we begin to set it up. :3
45 Karma -- Homosexual Cat (as well as the karma you must prove you're an active, responsible member of this site's who is willing to understand that the concept may not be taken well by all members.)
-coming soon-
Ways to earn karma include winning the OTMs, entering contest, being an active role player, and generally being a good member here at FoF.

ENGLISH AT FOF To be 'Literate', in roleplay terms, is to be able to use grammar and be able to spell correctly. However, being able to form coherent sentences and using varied language is also very important.
Here at FoF, we encourage literacy as much as possible. However, unlike some sites, this encouragement does not mean alienation to anyone who are 'below our standards'. Why? We do not preach literacy as a label and do not only want those of advanced standards, we want to try to help each individual's writing styles blossom. Whether this be through help with grammar and spelling or help with characterisation, we will always try to help you improve through constructive critisism. However, don't be scared, we won't do this blantly or frequently in rps and we will simply let you improve yourself with time.
So, don't you worry :) We won't allow mini-modding or insults over literacy, and we won't tell you off for not having a perfect post. The only time when we will point out something is when you are powerplaying, godmoding or inter-rping too much.
We also acknowledge some here will not have a English as their first language and give them special consideration when it comes to their rp posts and bios. We ask you not to be too judgemental of them and allow them to learn how to form the language better purely by reading and writing more english. Remember, they are probably trying their best! If you yourself do not have english as a first language, feel free to tell us and specify how much 'help' you want. If you DO want mistakes pointed out, tell us and we will try to help you ^^.
Lists of members to which English is a second language: dark9dreams (Ravyn/Topaz) (Korean) Mistakes pointed out Springsong (Russian) Bluepaw (German) has asked we point out any mistakes Puddyluff (Korean) Sharp (Russian)
(thanks to rolo again)
