Welcome to the new year, FoF. Yeah, we already celebrated 'the new year'. But this is a different new year. This is our new year. Forest of Fate was create 365 days ago, on this very day. To be specific, it was made at 4:57 in the afternoon. But we can overlook that, the whole day's a special one, anyway. And it's all thanks to you. Whether your new, old, staff, or not, FoF made it this far because of you and all you've done. Give yourself a pat on the back, reader, 'cause you deserve it.

With our new year, there's a new skin. I don't know what to think about it, I don't know where it came from. So, questions? Complaints? Whatever you have about the skin, post it here. Also, if you're going to ask about the images looking funny, let me say this. Some of the images are supposed to look blurry, and some of them aren't. A lot of the text I blurred for a “glowing” effect. But text that just looks blurry, not glowing, is Proboard's fault. They're messing up images somehow, hopefully it'll be fixed.

We also have a thread up in General. “A Thread to Remember”, it's basically a place where you can reminisce on the past year. Whether the memories are good or bad, they're a part of our site. I'm sure you want to relive some of them with your fellow members and friends.

You'll see there is a mod position open. The application is currently not up yet, as we're still working on it. But it will be for a Bio Checking Mod who will specialize in Bio Checking. Both Hardy and Slug are modding mods, that is to say, they do everything but bio check. The Bio Checker will have access to the admin board, and they will be able to aid in the decisions. Keep a look out for the application if you're interested!

The positions of PineClan Deputy, StreamClan Medicine Cat Apprentice, and MeadowClan Medicine Cat are also open. Interested? They apply a cat, we'd like those spots filled ~

The Mistpelt Plot does need to get a move on, guys. So if you have a FogClan cat post post post! Don't be afraid because of the guidelines! They're just there so we can keep it moving at an even pace.

Swallowpelt's kits are now apprentices. Elmpaw and Willowpaw (who is up for adoption) need mentors, while Crowpaw is the newest PineClan Medicine Cat Apprentice. Since Paije is on leave, if anyone would be untested in temporarily playing Redclaw, that would be awesome. Dappledflower's kits are five moons old. Do not age your cats unless they are kits yet.

There will be a Medicine Cat Meeting, a Gathering, and a PineClan elder meeting starting this Friday. If you want to participate in the PC Elder Meeting, make an elder!

The Liquid Time Thread Limit no longer exists. We tested it, it works, we like it. Cats can be played in as many places as they want with no limit. Just try to keep them from being in two threads in the same place at the same time. Thank you.
