So, I've decided to attempt it. A lot of people are doing cool stuff with different languages, and I may try some of that with Latin, because it seems fun, but I don't really have much of an idea for these yet. Mostly I'm just posting this so that I've committed, because then I'll actually follow through.
But anyways, drabble one. Titled, quite brilliantly,
Loyalty By now it’s not so much grief that causes Hailstorm’s melancholy as it is loyalty. It’s loyalty that drives him to stare into nothing and remember. Because even if the grief is gone, Hailstorm will always be loyal to his twin. So he remembers and clings to the pain because he will always stay true to Slatepaw and to move on would be betrayal. He stays sad, but Hailstorm doesn’t begrudge Slatepaw this binding allegiance. Because by now this loyalty to sadness is part of Hailstorm more than Slatepaw is, and the gloom he clings to is losing its face.
Characters: Hailstorm, Slatepaw-both Prowlie's Word Count: 100 A/N: I don't actually interpret Hailstorm's character this way...I just was looking at his bio and thinking...and this sort of happened. Sorry for sort of butchering him Prowlie!
And it's late, and I'm going to bed. I may edit this post later.

Alright, drabble two. Only I could turn a prompt of "happy" and turn it into something depressing. Well, actually I bet a bunch of people could and did, but still. Anyways...
Happy Most of the time Cootwhisker would call himself happy, yet the other cats still shoot him pitying looks for the foggy confusion and oft-forgotten sadness in his eyes. Sometimes, you’re the one that knows yourself the least. Cootwhisker would call himself happy, but this idea comes from a dementia-addled brain which cloaks tragedy with hallucinations and amnesia. So the other cats give Cootwhisker pitying looks because they know the truth, and Cootwhisker calls himself happy because he doesn’t remember. Sometimes, you’re the one that knows yourself the least, but sometimes the truth others see doesn’t exist in your reality.
Characters: Cootwhisker-a character I plan on applying for quite soon. I hope this is allowed, mods? Word Count: 100 A/N: This is based of off one interpretation of Cootwhisker I am working on...though it looks right now like I'm actually going to go with the other. I'm having trouble keeping these drabbles consistent with the actual characters, they just seem to take on a life of their own. I'll have to work on that.
