Swanpaw sat in his den. His eyes drooped with exhaustion. His light brown paws ached from sleeping on them all night, so he stretched his legs. His mouth flung open to a yawn. He got up, and trotted in place for a moment. He stopped, and walked out of the den. The sun stung his eyes. He could barely see. He looked around, but didn't see his mentor. Swanpaw wanted to train today. Maybe practice fighting, or chase after a mouse. Or maybe he wasn't going to train. Maybe he was going to go on a border patrol. He looked around once more, but didn't see him. He moaned, becoming impatient. He padded to the fresh kill pile. To try and help the clan, but satisfy his hunger, he took the smallest mouse there. He knew he shouldn't eat, for the kits and the elders. But he didn't care, because he wanted food. He devoured the whole mouse in about one bite. He licked his mouth, and slowly moved down to cleaning his body of any dirt.
After spending time on his fur, he got really annoyed. He wanted to train now! He walked up to the warrior's den. He thought for a moment. Should he really wake him up? Yeah, probably.
"Rabbitstep! Training time!"
Short.

- coz' every girl's crazy...
Rabbitstep padded into the camp, pelt covered in snow and paws soaked. He had just came back from a hunt, bu the prey was well hidden in borrows under the snow, making the hunt unsuccessful. He sighed; some cats were going to go to their nests hungry again.
"Rabbitstep! Training time!"
The tom's head jerked to the sound of his name, finding Rabbitstep's apprentice, Snawpaw, yowling for him... in the Warrior's Den. Didn't he know to see if he was in there or not? The tabby stalked behind the white cat, the tip of his tail twitching in annoyance. "Are you trying to wake up the whole forest?" Rabbitstep snapped, ears flatting behind his head.
... 'bout a sharp dressed man -

Swanpaw looked up at his mentor. His paws where wet, but his fur had white dots of snow on his pelt. He looked closer in the den. He didn't see his mentor. "Um. I am sorry. I-I didn't know you where out hunting! I thought you where sleeping. But maybe you would have come earlier.. But you know what, Rabbitstep. It doesn't matter now."
He mewed, sitting straight and his chin held high. It didn't matter if he was in lots of trouble right now, because he really didn't care. His tailed curled around his paws. Usually, he wouldn't mind about getting yelled at. But right now he was somewhat nervous. This was Rabbitstep, after all. Maybe he could change the subject before it gets bad. "So, um. What are we doing today?"
He sunk his claws into the soft dirt. He might go hunting, or he might battle train. He thought of how Rabbitstep snapped at him. Maybe he could accidentally claw off Rabbitstep's ear. He purred at the though.
