Finally, as the sun was slipping from the sky, three cats padded into the MeadowClan camp. Palepaw was a bit weary, but happy that she'd been able to provide for her Clan. The thick-furred she-cat padded over to the fresh-kill pile to drop her catch on it before quickly gulping down a mouse. She turned back to her Clanmtes briefly. "Thanks for the good hunt!" She mewed. She also silently thanked her ancestors. Her catch was nothing to boast of, but at least it was something. And she'd had fun, which was more important. So it was with slow but satisfied steps that she slipped quietly into the apprentices' den.
The knightly tom was exhausted. Unusual, but true. And his jaws ached after holding the large piece of fresh-kill for so long. He gratefully unclenched his jaws after going inchingly towards the pile of prey. He rolled his narrow shoulders, mouth parting in a wide yawn. He remembered his idea from earlier, but decided Dappledflower would not be better served by being interrupted at this time. The gray MeadowClanner was tempted just to eat his own sparrow, but that was not the way of the warrior code. Instead, he picked a robin from the pile. After hastily devouring it, he turned to his Clanmate. "G'night, my dear fellow. Shall we both hasten to our den?"

ooc; I just like having an ooc comment on my posts.
Relief hit Rabbitstep as he, Palepaw, and Stormclaw padded into camp, jaws filled with fresh-kill. Glancing up to the sky, he saw that the sun had slowly made its way downward quite a ways, and he would soon call it a day and go rest in his nest until the next day of doing the same would start. The Warrior soon remembered that Dappledflower would be hungry at this time, and maybe even a bit moody. The tabby mused over the idea of bring his mate this rabbit in his jaws, but soon left the thought drift away as he remember that an apprentice would have brought Dappleflower's meal to her. All while his gears in his head were turning, his paws had unconsciously brought him to the fresh-kill pile, jaws dropping the rabbit for a clanmate to have for themselves. The smell of the pile had reminded Rabbitstep's stomach that it needed food, and a small growl could be heard from it.
"G'night, my dear fellow. shall we both hasten to our den?"
The pale brown tabby's green-yellow gaze set itself onto Stormclaw, who's meow had broken Rabbitstep out of his thoughts. He frowned, briefly wondering what the word 'hasten' meant. Deciding on go inside, he meowed, "I'm going to see what our Clanmates are up to before I go rest. I think it's good to be updated." The tom held back a yawn, returning his gaze on camp. "Want to join me? If not, that's fine."
ooc; BAM. -fistpump- Muse is finally here!

Stormclaw blinked. In his tiredness he hadn't thought of getting news. Not that it wasn't a good idea. "A smashing idea, good sir. I would be"-an unstoppable yawn separated his jaws for a few moments before he resumed speaking-"delighted to accompany you." The question was...where were they going? He didn't know, but of course it was important to get news. It has his duty to remain on top of what was happening in his Clan. StarClan forbid he make an error due to lack of knowledge! He cast a quick glance at the den in which Palepaw had disappeared into. He decided he liked the light furred brownish-gray apprentice. If only she were his apprentice instead of Sparrowpaw. He was shocked at his own disloyalty, but it was true. The blue-gray tom was patient, yes, and he would not give up, but dealing with the green-eyed cynic was an everyday burden. Ah well. Stormclaw could worry about that tomorrow. For now, he would simply follow Rabbitstep and enjoy hearing of his Clanmates' activities.

ooc; ONO. RABBITSTEP'S GONNA BE A DAD. O:
"A smashing idea, good sir. I would be delighted to accompany you."
Rabbitstep nodded, fighting back a yawn of his own. Didn't they say yawning was contagious or some nonsense like that? What does it matter anyway? he thought, flicking his tail in a direction near the nursery. Dappledflower was due any day now, and he had to check on her and make sure she was perfect.
Not like she wasn't perfect anyway.
In the midst of his thinking, a call from the exact she-cat Rabbitstep was thinking off broke his thoughts. "Dappledflower!" he half-called half questioned, forgetting about his blue-furred friend and dashing toward the nursery.
ooc; Sorry, Wolfie. Gotta leave you ~
Fun role play. |D
