Stormclaw padded into the training hollow, followed reluctantly by his apprentice, Sparrowpaw. Two moons ago, when Cedarstar had picked him to be her mentor, he'd been honored, but also a bit apprehensive. The light brown apprentice was rude, cold, and disliked being with her Clanmates. Stormclaw prayed to StarClan that they would guide her paws onto the path of responsibility and kindness. He hoped he could help her along that path. Luckily, he had patience. A lot of patience. He'd need it.
The gray tom went in a few more pawsteps then turned around, standing with his muscles tensed. "Ok, Sparrowpaw, how would you best take me down, claws sheathed? Her reply might be an attack, so Stormclaw figured that he'd better be ready.

"I would say get down. And if you are a true dumb cat then you would." She meowed coldly. She wasn't in the mood for moving actions and all that stuff. She just felt...negative. When she started training with Stormclaw, it was pretty exicting and it will always be, but not today. Not the kind of day to be out training for her.
"Or am I suppose to say pin you down?"Sparrowpaw uttered sarcasticily. The tabby pelt that covered her ears pricked as she heard a rusltling noise. But, she didn't move a paw. And, she enjoyed just standing there doing nothing. Then, she looked at her mentor and spoke. "What's next?"

Stormclaw barely witheld the groan that rose in his throat. The blue-gray tom breathed deeply once, and prayed to StarClan for guidance. He didn't get any strokes of brilliant inspiration, but perhaps this idea would do: "Since you seem to dislike questions, why not actually show me your skills instead?" He suggested. Perhaps this would appeal to the contrary she-cat more than talk, at least it was worth a shot.

"My skills? Sure. I will show it to you."Not even waiting for a second to past by she put strength into her hind legs and pounced. Her paws were out and totally feeling free. Her green eyes looking straight at her mentor. No angle can turn her away from attacking. Her whole body was off the ground. But luckily, she didn't have any claws showing on her paws. The reaction that this she-cat had made might have scared all the preys that were sharing the same fox length with her, but did she care? Nope, not at all. It didn't really matter rather she brought back a dead thing to eat to camp or not. All she wanted was to pin that cat down.

Sparrowpaw came at Stormclaw so fast that if he hadn't still been tensed, she'd have bowled him right over. As it was, the blue-gray tom reflexedly jumped upwards, landing a fairly gentle-claws sheathed, of course!-blow on his apprentice's head. However, the split second it had taken him to get off the ground meant that his apprentice's outstretched paws knocked his hind legs slightly, not enough to him fall back, but enough to wobble him so that he nearly fell backwards when he landed behind the brown che-cat. "Well done, Sparrowpaw, your position was perfect. However, keep in mind that while you're jumping, you might want to aim your paws higher. If you do that, you have more of a chance to hit your opponent's eyes, ears, or head." As he said this, the MeadowClan tom was once again turning around into a tensed position, standing with his muscles tightened and tail still.

The words the tom had said was pretty stupid to her. ¡°If I had my paws aimed higher, then I would have hit your head, eyes or ears. I never thought you really wanted that.¡± And to make her own satisfaction, she added ¡°You are such a stupid furball.¡± She slowly started to get her walking pace again. One paw after another. She didn¡¯t really care rather Stormclaw was coming or not because she wanted to obtain a little freedom by herself. As the sun slowly went in her direction she formed a frown. This was so stupid. Sparrowpaw could have been in her nest cuddled up sleeping but instead she was out walking on a sunny day.

Stormclaw felt the fur on his back bristle. He'd tried to be patient, and help Sparrowpaw out, and this was the thanks he got? Yes, indeed she might have hit him if she aimed higher, but so what? That was the point. This was training, after all, and she didn't bother to listen she'd find herself at a big disadvantage in a fight. Trying to calm himself down, he focused on what a beautiful day it was and how StarClan would help him. Speaking of which....Dear StarClan, if you can hear me, please help Sparrowpaw understand I'm only trying to assist her along her path. Stormclaw felt reassured by the presence of his warrior ancestors. They would help Sparrowpaw as they'd helped him, he was sure of it. Quite distraughting, he thought.
He watched the brown che-cat walk away and felt a mixture of emotions: Annoyance, pity, sadness, and perhaps even a small bit of admiration for the outspoken MeadowClanner. After a moment, he decided the best thing to do was follow her, but not talk. Her reaction to that would be interesting. He felt a twinge of guilt at this descision, but figured he couldn't just do nothing. He thought about what Sparrowpaw's past might have been like, maybe it had made her act like this. A small idea began to unfold in his mind as the gray-blue tom padded slowly after his hostile apprentice.

Sparrowpaw caught it. She caught what the tom was thinking and feeling. So, he¡¯s trying see what I do. Huh? Well, that furball will get a piece of me.
A evil smile slowly planted on her face as she thought of her plan. ¡°Hey.¡± She flicked her tail towards her mentor to give a little signal of saying ¡®listen to me.¡¯ ¡°Can we hunt for a while?¡± She spoke slowly and as she moved her mouth the fangs were visible.
She was up to something. And it wasn¡¯t something nice. So now, the battle was over. The devil had won her. It didn¡¯t really matter anyways because her angle was already weak and defeated in the first place.
The young feline couldn¡¯t wait to play a evil trick on her innocent mentor. Well, in her point of view he wasn¡¯t so innocent. The thing about Stormclaw trying to see her reaction had made her go thumping on the earth. She just didn¡¯t like it and she wanted to show that. In a revenge-like way.
Wheather her mentor was ready for it or not, she was doing it and was 100% sure about that. Her ears twitched as she heard a noise from the right. ¡°Stormclaw, I think there is a prey there.¡± The tabby cat pointed to that place with her tail. ¡°You see it?¡± The she-cat asked.

Stormclaw looked, but saw nothing. He twitched an ear in confusion. Had Sparrowpaw made a mistake? Or was this a trick? Knowing Sparrowpaw, it was probably the latter. Stormclaw's tail drooped. He couldn't do anything right today, it seemed. Perhaps he should just leave her alone. But how could he try to help her if she never tried to understand that he wanted to help her? It was hopeless. No, not hopeless. Nothing was hopeless. His own exeperiences had taught him that. Besides, what he had been trying to do (now that he thought about it) was dishonorable. But what to do now? If only he could figure out why Sparrowpaw was like this, maybe he'd have more of a hope of getting through to her. But then, she'd hardly just tell him. He'd have to figure it out. In the mean time... "Sparrowpaw, I see no prey. But we can hunt if you like. I'm sorry I did that, it was stupid of me." Instantly Stormclaw cursed himself. Stupid he was indeed. What in StarClan's name made in say that? Now she'd be sure to think he was an idiot.
I know this is horrible. Forgive me. ><
