"Sort of. I'll do an example for you. I'm not real good, but it might help."
Remembering what her apprentice did, the gray she-cat decided to mimic it, but with alterations. She padded a few foxlengths to the left, mentally measuring the range she would use for her attack and making sure she wouldn't hit Tigerpaw, who was only about one third her size and would be crushed if she accidentally landed on him.
Gingerstar would love to know why she would show up with a flat striped blob instead of an apprentice.
So, grimacing slightly at her own sick joke, she sank to the ground, as if she'd been pinned by an opponent, then jumped back up as if she were hurling them off. Then she jumped again, but landed early with a thump, as if the same cat had pounced on her again. Snarling, she rolled over, pretending to batter her invisible opponent with strong, blunt paws. As she threw her "enemy" off, she got up again, now panting slightly. The PineClanner left the ground a third time, only this jump she actually did, but pretended to stumble when she landed, as if she'd tripped on a rock. The heavily scarred cat pretended to fall, but then pushed herself back up by her hind legs and sat, breathing heavily.
"That was an advanced one, though. Now, tell me some things you noticed about how I did that."
