Pushing it? I'd say it crossed the line long ago and is still running. I mean for crying out loud. Here. Let me put up some more.
I don't mind names that are a bit untraditional, but these ones don't even make SENSE. Some of the time it's just the prefix or suffix that's bad in a name, but sometimes it's the WHOLE name.
Lemonzest (ah is a pie flavor, yo.) Brokengaze (when they look at you, things break.) Maplesplash (a watery tree, yes.) Adderbite (I'm sure he bites like a poisonous snake.) Breezeheart (breezes have no color, therefore cats cannot look like them.) Bluesheen (sheen? Cats are not sheen-y.) Chillpaw (it's stupid to name a cat for temperature.) Thymetail (or herbs.) Darkwind (-wind is a bad suffix. 'nuff said.) Schorchshadow (shadows cannot be burnt.) Shiningkit (who must have iridescent fur.) Echopaw (Ah is a returning sound, yo.) Crescentpaw (just no.) Flamesheath (I'm sure they hold a sword or dagger.) Mossgaze (they must be green and gaze like moss.) Melodypaw (they must look like music notes.) Fernwing (cats aren't green are leafy, nor do they have wings.) Goldsnake (cats are not like snakes.) Lilyfeather (lily doesn't work as a prefix and cats don't have feathers) Ragingfire (this just sounds stupid.) Pixieflower (cats do not know of or believe in mythical creatures.) Angelpaw (cats do not know about angels.) Bandersnatch (.__. utter. fail.) Silverdove (having animals as suffixes never works, period.) Forestlight (just no.)
