sooo. i've been kinda down in the dumps lately, and i swear i'm going emo. e.e idk. anyways, i wrote a couple of drabbles about myself and my life, and i've decided to post them. maybe i'll make some more in the future. idk.
They're at the corners of my mind, calling to me, begging me to give in.
They're at my feet, waiting for me to trip and fall.
They're in my heart, making it black and useless.
They closer you get to the light, the farther your shadow goes, right? Then why does mine stay the same? Why does it remain no matter what, unmoving, never leaving, yet never growing?
Because you are my light, and no matter where I go, the shadows cannot touch me.

Whenever you're around me, I always smile, haven't you noticed?
Whenever you look at me, I always blush, haven't you noticed?
Whenever you joke, I always laugh, haven't you noticed?
