.... It depends May, what are your parents like? And are they religious? And also, how much do they know about the brain and psychology?
-hides under blanket in embarresment- So....I, uh, projected Lyrca...and I was right, she does like being a tiger, but she also seems to like being an, uhm, ahh.... Well, a, uh... .....
hermitcrab What the hell is that supposed to mean about me? I mean, she's A FRIGGIN' HERMIT CRAB!

That's not too bad, Hayy ~ Although it was a little funny when you said that, no offense or anything. xx3
"Stop going into all the little details." --x-- But I can't. ... or rather, I dunno. -.-;
I don't get how you project them. I can easily 'see' any sort of critter outside of my mind, but then how do you know what your daemon's coat color really is if you're always just thinking of them as this or that color? Am I making any sense right now?
Oh, and all I know about mine is that hei's a hei. o3o;

Haha, I'm not offended. It's hilarious, really.
And yes. It is that bad. ITS. A. HERMIT. CRAB. (( Lyrca says she is a she, and that the hermit crab is not that pathetic of an animal. I suggested that she try to race anything else in my house while she is a hermit crab, and now she is being a hermit crab to annoy me. ))
Also, I sorta think that I should be settled, as I'm always pretty much the same person, but I have so many different facets that I think maybe she just needs to be able to have the adaptability of changing...I'm not sure though. I don't mind it. 'Cept she won't be anything that can fly, and I don't think she ever will be, it just doesn't fit. Actually, come to think of it, she hasn't been anything but a tiger and a hermit crab D:
Oh and Thistle, in a way, your daemon won't let you project them as something completely incorrect, and other than that, I think the rest just falls in to place...

So... if I tried to project my daemon as a hamster, for example, and it just wasn't right, then my daemon wouldn't let me see a hamster sitting on the table in front of me? I don't get itttt ~~~. |c

My daemon just goes "OH HELL NO" and gives me an indignant, scruffy look and crosses his paws all snooty-like if he doesn't like a form. He flat out refuses, but I can make him be whatever the heck I want. It's my mind o3o

I reckon it depends on the person for if they can force theirs to be. I've tried prodding grif mentally but he just goes "I can't." which I guess I kinda expected. I had a great thing yesterday, a friend and me went out and I casually brought up the golden compass then worked into about how it was a theory'n'stuff and now he's psyched about it too. I brought him home and showed him the daemon page thing and let him look through the list and try animals. He was trying to force a settled white tiger, but we looked through the personality and it really wasn't him. He said he saw her as a dove though, then a bat and it varied, but he still tried to say it was settled, which I couldn't explain to him it couldn't be if it changed but phailed. Other than that there's nothing to update on grif, he's still just sittin' there, still just talkin'.
Go for one of your more gullible friends if you're gonna tell them, or one of your more open ones, either way, go for someone that's not very srsbsns, it works out better c: I brought up how it was a theory to my dad the other day, but didn't really try to pursue convincing him, I figure there's no point xD.

Alright, so I thought I'd fill you all in. After getting into a argument heated discussion with Maindo, I decided to go on the internet to look at some pictures. So, I find this one of a red squirrel, and WHAM! Maindo decides she like the squirrel and has been in this form ever since, except at one point when she turned into a butterfly to help me find some papers. On the note of projecting her, it's becoming easier and easier, though occasionally she becomes blurry, but I believe this is caused by my bad eyesight. Oh, and she has one thing to say to you all...
Maindo: Liz really needs to stop talking about me. She's become obsessed with me because of you all. Me: Oh, you are soooo friendly to others aren't you? Maindo: Of course.
The all powerful squirrel picture.

Prowlie- Yeah, I was pretty certain I would have a settled tiger, and it turns out Lyrca is a tiger (I can't figure out whether she is Sumatran or Caspian D: ), but then there is this whole Hermit Crab thing. She won't be anything but the two, and acts settled other than the fact that in crowded situations where a tiger can't really fit she turns into a hermit crab that looks like this: Do you think there is any way that I could be settled as two animals? Because my personality hasn't changed forever D: ...and yes, don't anyone tell me that the fact that the above image is a reflection of me is not embarrassing. JUST LOOK AT ITTT!

No. You can not be settled as two completely different animals - if two compltely different animals fit you, then you are not settled in the first place. On The Daemon Forum we have a 'settling check list' of sorts.
