In this hypothetical situation, you and two other people are guarding a house. The people you're guarding it from come out at night.
Do you guard it in shifts, letting some sleep but reducing the number of people on watch, or decide to stay awake all night and sleep during the day? Also, would you all stand at the door, or patrol the perimeter? Would you have set stations, or would you walk about and investigate any noises?
Poizuun says "I would probably stay up all night and sleep during the day, and divide the area into three sections, where each person has a designated area to watch"

They're still capable of dying; that should be all that matters.
If you killed them, though, the cops would be after you.
And this is a situation in which that would be far too inconvenient to be worth it.

Hypothetically, why are we being attacked? Are we guarding some valuable piece of information that the normal humans want, or did we just get on their bad sides?
Situation 1- Stay up all night and sleep during the day. I would divide the area into three sectors and assign one person to each sector. They would alternate between patrolling the perimeter and hiding, but staying stationary.
Situation 2- Alternate shifts. I'd divide the area into two sections and just have people patrol the perimeters while carrying rocket launchers.

We wouldnt actually use them. It'd be more of a display of power/make them all run away crying to their mothers type thing.
Honestly, who would continue to attempt an invasion of a house if it was protected by rocket launcher-wielding guards?
