Description: Ravenstar is a black tom with random white hairs scattered throughout his pelt and a smudge of white in the center of his chest and yellow green eyes. He is extremely tall and lithe with tightly wound muscles covering his entire body. His tail is long and skinny and seems to have a mind of its own, since it's always twisting and curling. His face is long and masculine with a slightly triangular shape, the very tips of his canines show beneath his top lip. His ears are also long and thin, always standing straight up. He has somewhat wide paws with claws that can be heard clicking on rocky surfaces.
Personality: Before becoming leader, Ravenstar was confident and charismatic with a leadership air that caused cats to want to follow him. Now, as leader, he's become less confident in his abilities, always unsure what decision is best for the Clan. He relies heavily upon his closest friends for advice and hardly ever reaches a decision by himself. Ravenstar actually wants his Clan to almost run without a leader and will sit quietly at Clan meetings, taking in everything that everyone has to say, hardly ever inserting his opinion.
History: Ravenstar was practically raised as a son by ForestClan's old leader, Elkstar, and was treated as such. He learned everything he knew from the leader and when he died, he was crushed, as if losing his father. When the current Clan leader took on his role, he automatically began changing things with a slick, convincing tongue, using his closest companions to gain support. He even named Ravenstar, then Raventail, deputy to make those of his skeptics believe that he was still focused on Elkstar's legacy of a strong, united Clan. Brownstar wasn't necessarily evil, he came into deputy and leader position due to his own hard work, he just had his own thoughts on how to run a Clan that he wanted to make the strongest in the forest. Even though he was deputy, Raventail was kept from knowing what decisions were being made and had hardly any input if his opinion was asked. During this time, it was arranged that Raventail would be mates with Barkfang, who was Brownstar's only daughter. Raventail had no affection for her, instead being in love with another she-cat named Mottledstream, but Barkfang was infatuated by him. The two eventually had a kit, whom was named Tallkit. After his son was born, Raventail took this as his oppurtunity to leave ForestClan before they could start to distort his son's mind as much as they had the other kits.
During patrols in which he hand-picked that were filled with his followers, they would scour outside their territory for another territory in which they could claim for themselves. It was actually Mottledstream that discovered the current territory after three moons of searching. It was this discovery that spurred following events into effect. Soon after, Raventail approached Brownstar, backed by his best friends and older warriors that believed in him, should there be a confrontation. Upon hearing of their plans, Brownstar laughed and actually dared them to leave, not believing that they survived.
That night, the cats left and have not returned since.
Parents: Died of whitecough when Ravenstar was just on the verge of becoming an apprentice, raised by Elkstar and Elkstar's mate.
