So I took a practice PSAT last week. Most of it was easy; sure, I had never seen the math or vocabulary before, but it was easy enough to figure out with a little thought. Then, I came across something similar to this. Except, like, more professional-looking with bigger words (the word 'tangent' was thrown in there somewhere) and less Paint-y stuff. I said the answer was 14, after connecting the dots and splitting the triangle in half 'cause it seemed like the right thing to do. 8/2 = 4, which didn't get me anywhere. So I basically just assumed that since the triangles were stacked up but the top one was slightly set inside the other two if that makes any sense, it would -crap, I have to go. Bye<3 I just want to be proven right, otherwise it'll drive me insane.
