Though Fox has heard of StarClan, she doesn't really understand what they are. She cannot think abstractly enough to wrap her mind around the concept of “gods” over the cats. She thinks that if she cannot see, touch, hear, or smell something, then it does not exist and cannot exist.

Appearance |
Fox is an extremely long, tall and skinny she-cat, though her skeletal frame is apparent beneath her tight pelt, she is not too far underweight or anywhere near emaciated. Her legs are long and skinny, and look as if they would break if any form of force was applied to them. However, her bones are flexible (at least those in her spine and ribcage) and durable. They can stand more stress than what they look able to. However, Fox puts a lot of strain on her bones and if you were to take an X-ray of her entire body, you would see hairline cracks in nearly every single bone. Really, her bones are just ticking time bombs until one of the cracks turns into a fracture and she will very likely die. There is a slight upward curve in her spine, where the vertebrae show slightly through her pelt. Her tail is extremely long, thin and flexible, almost having the ability to curve upon itself, and at the point it just seems to fade into nothing. She has little muscle mass on her body, but the muscles she has are tight and wiry, especially in her hind legs, which are a little longer than her front legs.
Fox’s face has an almost alien quality to it, akin to an Oriental. Her head is wide, long, and triangle shaped. Her muzzle is long, with long white whiskers. Her ears are tall and wide, which help her hearing immensely with their satellite-dish appearance. Her eyes are also large and round, evenly spaced across her face. The irises are a green-yellow color, but also kind of hidden behind her constantly large pupils. Her pupils are almost constantly dilated, filling her entire eye at some points, for no explained reason. This is extremely helpful to her when she is hunting at night, but it also causes her eyesight to be sub-par in general. Because of her pupils being so large, Fox has become a mostly nocturnal creature, hardly coming out during the day unless it is evening or early morning.
Her pelt is short and hugs her body close, only thickening a little bit in the winter, which makes her extremely sensitive to the cold, to the point that she hardly comes out of her den during the winter. The color of her fur is a milk chocolate color with a golden tint in the sun. It is completely solid without a single scrap of white breaking it up. The only spec of white that you can see on her are her whiskers.
Personality |
Fox is pretty mentally lacking. It seems that her mental growth stopped when she was about six moons old. Fox cannot think abstractly or beyond what is physically right in front of her. She does not think about the past (more than a few days into the past) or consider the future. She only really thinks about what is going on right now. Her memory is also sub-par. She can learn new things and information, but she cannot remember them for long periods of time unless she is constantly reminded of what she was supposed to know and remember. It takes her a long time to retain the information, but eventually she will be able to remember things, it just takes time and effort on the part of the cat that wants her to remember. For this reason, if Fox is unfamiliar with an area, she will get completely lost frequently and be unable to find her way back to her and Bear’s den.
Fox does not care about other cats. She only worries about herself and her own happiness. And for her, happiness is being alive. She will throw any cat under the bus just so she can keep living and surviving. At least, any cat except for her half-brother. She does not trust any other cat except for Bear, as she doesn’t think that any other cat will care for her like Bear does. She has an odd form of love (and obsession) for Bear, not romantically, but because he takes care of her and without him, she would more than likely die.
Skills |
Because of her long and lanky body, Fox is extremely fast and agile, but her stamina is not very great. Her long, muscled hind legs also help her in leaping long distances and climbing trees. Her somewhat thin bones add to her flexibility and she can squeeze into and through small spaces. It also helps her in fighting. Her flexible and wiry muscles make her very wriggly and hard to get a good hold on. If a larger cat has her pinned, she can usually find a way out from under them. However, though she is built so much for speed and flexibility, she has a very low amount of strength and is over powered extremely easily. Her fighting skills are also lacking. Because of her terrible eyesight, Fox cannot hunt smaller prey, such as mice, moles or small birds, and prefers to hunt larger prey, such as squirrels, birds, and other cats. However, if she goes after a cat, she needs her half-brother’s help. Fox also has a high drive to survive and will do nearly anything in her power in order to stay alive. Probably her largest asset is her half-brother, Bear. She knows that he will do just short of everything that she asks and that he will always protect her.
History |
Fox was born to her loner mother and barely remembers anything about her. At a young age, her father, Wolf, took her to his small group in order to raise her as he saw fit with her half-brother, who was about five moons older than her. Bear’s mother was still with Wolf and was able to raise Fox. It was at this time that Bear began taking care of Fox and she gained an affection for Bear, looking up to him. However, at a young age (whether it was teachings from Wolf or other factors) she began to show developmental issues. She acted strangely and was having trouble remembering the lessons and didn’t seem like the other cats. There was no "exact" factor that made her development begin to slacken. It is probably just an affliction that she had from birth. However, because of these issues that she had, Wolf decided that she was dispensable and would not be necessary for his ideas. He was either going to abandon her or kill her himself, but Bear wouldn’t let him. He didn’t see it as right. So, because they were old enough, Bear took Fox away from their father and settled down in the outskirts of where the clans are now and have lived there ever since.
