beliefs | like most of pineclan, raventail has no faith in starclan. or any starry dead cats for that matter. he's like a modern-day atheist. it's not how he was raised, and well, that's not going to change now if he's gotten along his whole life without "starclan." raventail is firm in his belief, and depending on the mood he's in, he's been known to start a religious debate every now and then.

raventail's a kind cat. he's not one to go out looking for trouble, so as long as the other clans leave him be about his beliefs, he'll behave. but provoke him, and you have a wild spitfire on your paws. that's why raventail feels right at home in pineclan, where he's free to say and believe what he wants without judgement. --x

appearance | raventail is a black tom with fur as dark as the bird he was named after. he is a tuxedo cat, and his chest, belly, and paws are a soft white, as well as an adorable mark on his muzzle that earned him his kittypet name, smudge. his fur is medium-length and has a silky smooth texture to it, almost akin to a cat with streamclan's diet. raventail's eyes are a pale sea-green that spark with intense green flames when the tom is angry.

raventail is on the small side, sitting a few odd centimeters shorter than his clanmates. he has a fairly large build for his size; his long fur also helps make him look larger than he is. beginning with the top of him, raventail's face is plump, round and topped off with two pointy ears. he has a small black nose with pale whiskers sprouting from the muzzle.

the next thing a cat would notice about raventail would likely be his legs. they are short, but at the same time are just the right size to compliment the tom's small frame and hold him up. if a cat then moves further down to his end, they will see raventail's most striking feature and also his namesake: his tail. it's unusually long, thick, and feathery, with the same luxurious raven-black fur. if set just right, it fans out beautifully around raventail and gives him a glorious look. --x

skills | raventail's skills lie mainly in his ability to vocalize rather than act. for instance, he's much better at stirring up warriors in a battle party than, say, actually fighting in the war. he speaks his mind, voicing the thoughts and ideas other cats would be too afraid to. he's also a superb leader and strategist with his sharp wits, clear reasoning, and great persuasive skills.

as far as actual warrior duties go, raventail is an excellent hunter thanks to his quiet step and patience. he's an alright tracker, and though he shouldn't be your first pick in a fight due to his clumsy manuevering, overall raventail is a vital asset to pineclan. -notdone-
