Back In My Day

Jaggedclaw lay in the Elder's den with quite couple of apprentices gathered around him, the pesky brats were bothering him for a story from when he was their age. Again.

Jaggedclaw had been trying his best to ignore the little balls of fluff, but it seemed that they would not go away without their demands being met. With a sigh Jaggedclaw opened his eyes reluctantly. "Back in my day, loyalty was key, y'know. None of the nonsense you young'ns call loyalty. You all think sitting up for a whole night without sleeping is true loyalty, hah! I remember having to..."

Moving Up

Yellowkit bounced into the nursery where his brother, Sparrowkit, and his sister, Patchkit, were wrestling. "Guys, guess what?!" Yellowkit's siblings looked up expectantly, wondering what their brother was making such a hullabaloo about.

"Tomorrow we're having our apprentice ceremony!" All three kits took up celebration in the form of running around, jumping on eachother, and pretending that they were fighting off badgers and clans that thought they could overtake the mighty StreamClan.

"When I'm a warrior, I'll be the strongest warrior in the whole StreamClan," Sparrowkit exclaimed with glee, then pounced on Yellowkit, to which both of them started laughing.

The Curse of Apprentices

Jaggedclaw was fighting his way to his dinner. There were pesky apprentices everywhere, a sea of them, blabbing in his ear. "Tell us a story!" "Tell us about when you were a kit!" "How did your claws get like that?" "Jaggedclaw!" They swarmed around him, a neverending mass, like ants on an anthill.

Then they were gone.
Jaggedclaw took the chance to run towards his dinner, then all of a sudden they came back. With a yowl, Jaggedclaw started pushing apprentices aside, by god, he would get to his dinner if he had to go through a million annoying apprentices.

Old People Cats

Finchpaw and Lionpaw sat together in PineClan's clearing. There heads were rather close as they whispered about some matter rather fervently.

"I mean, Finchpaw, No-ears must be ancient! I'm just saying, if Gingerstar is looking to him for advice, we'll all be dead within a moon! I bet he doesn't even know what's going on around him!" Lionpaw whispered this more loudly than anything else he had said before. Finchpaw's eyes widened at Lionpaw and she batted his head then whispered to him, "Be quiet, somecat will hear you. You should be ashamed of yourself, saying those things about No-ears!"
