Name | Elmpaw
Gender | Tom
Age | Eight moons
Rank | Apprentice
Clan | PineClan
Beliefs | Being raised in a Clan where no one (well, there's a couple oddballs but that's it) believes in starry ancestors, Elmpaw automatically took up their beliefs once he became an apprentice and stands firm by it. He openly scorns FogClan for their petty obsession with StarClan and is completely sure that his Clan is the best. Although, being the rowdy apprentice he is, he doesn't talk about his beliefs much and doesn't really care either.
Parents | Swallowpelt - Mother [DC: Wolf] and Otterfur - Father [DC: Crow]
Siblings | Willowpaw - Sister [PB: Whiskers] and Crowpaw - Brother [PB: Glowy]
Other Kin | Shrikewhisker - Uncle [PB: Whiskers] and Sootstorm - Aunt [PB: Claw]
Mate | Not yet
Crush | Not yet
Kits | Not yet
Mentor | Loonstep (pb: cloudie)
Appearance | Elmpaw is a tall, short-furred brown tom. He is a strong-boned feline and is growing into a large, muscular cat, which matches up perfectly with his eagerness for battle. His thick pelt is striped with dark tabby markings, emphasized by the lightness of his base coat. His fur is otherwise pretty plain, not counting the white sock on his hind foot.
Elmpaw's head is well-proportioned, his ears large and his muzzle blunt. His nose is a dark brick-red and his eyes are quickly fading from baby-blue to a stunning cyan tone. He also has a cream-colored chin and long, sensitive white whiskers. His voice is strong, loud, and definitive, with a particular accent that makes him sound slightly crude. He likes to think himself as handsome, although others may say otherwise.
Personality | Elmpaw has a pretty simple heart. He's brave and bold, and will recklessly tackle obstacles. You could say that he's as fearless as a bull in a china shop. Danger only excites him, and that is what leads him into trouble the most. However, Elmpaw's intentions aren't (usually) mean-spirited, and he thinks he knows when to not cross the line.
Elmpaw is a loyal young tom and likes to volunteer for things such as border and hunting patrols. He'll mysteriously vanish from camp when it's time to check the elders for ticks, though, and will turn up only when someone else has completed the tedious task. He is not what you'd call 'lazy', but he sees himself above such stupid duties. Him being a kit of PineClan's first ever litter has bolstered his already-inflated ego, but fortunately not to the unbearable point. He enjoys trying his attempts in charming lovely she-cats with his crooked grin and cute accent. He's not a ladies man; not yet, at least. Just a sweet-talkin', arrogant little tom.
Elmpaw is still the immature, sore looser that he was when he was a kitten. He hates not being able to win and will push his abilities to try and make himself unbeatable. Losing a mock fight, a race, anything can put him in a sour mood for the rest of the day. But overall, he's quite easygoing and playful and will only show his stubborn side when he's either not feeling friendly, or when the prospect of winning comes to mind. He has no further ambition than to be the best warrior there is.
Elmpaw's really just your stereotypical, macho 'jock' type of male.
Skills | Elmkit is a rough playfighter and thereby strength can be seen in him; however he hates water and is not very quick. He tries his best on everything he does, showing particular enthusiasm in battle training. He is a fairly simple cat, not really having much intelligence but having a lot of heart.
History |
kithood Elmkit was born into a healthy litter of three, the first litter of kits ever to be born in PineClan. Like any other kit, he was the trouble-making type. He was also the loudest and biggest of the bunch, which only added to his mischievous streak. He wasn't as much of a big dreamer as his sister, Willowkit, was though. He never felt like being a leader. He just wanted to be the best warrior PineClan would ever know. Therefore, most of his kitten hood was spent trying to sneak out of camp, learning combat moves from willing apprentices, and mock-fighting with his siblings. He even developed a cute little accent that his littermates didn't have. His mother was not pleased.
apprenticeship Elmpaw's first day as an apprentice was spent exploring the territory with his mentor, Loonstep. He was rather clueless at first, as Loonstep's talks about the importance of the warrior code and keeping peace between the Clans seemed quite boring and silly. And his daily chores weren't very fun either. Despite his complaints, he enjoys his freedom as an apprentice. Once, after his sister was attacked by rats, he was overcome with the urge to have a little adventure like she had. He had the daring to sneak out in the middle of the night unsupervised, which was where he met his friend Tigerpaw.
