Name | Aspenwhisker
Gender | she-cat
Age | 12 moons
Rank | Warrior
Clan | Meadow
Beliefs | Aspenwhisker is very close to Starclan. She was raised by a mother and father who wanted her to have a relationship with her ancestors, but they didn't ever realize what their daughter might someday have in terms of faith. This she-cat consults Starclan before any major choice she makes. Cats who don't have the relationship with Starclan that she does may find her trying quite hard to discuss beliefs with them, and she tries very hard to help "salvage" those who don't have a heart for their ancestors.
Parents | Pinenose (father/np) and Poppytail (mother/np)
Siblings | Birchfoot, Gracklefur, Pebbleclaw
Other Kin | N/a
Mate | Not yet.
Crush | Not yet.
Kits | Not yet.
Apprentice/Mentor | Not yet.
Appearance | A brownish, almost sandy underbelly darkens into a shadowed gray on top with a few even darker stripes between her ears. Inside here ears, the fur things to show a meaty pink color at the center. She has a dusky brown nose and silver whiskers. Her eyes are the color of a pre-storm sky, turquoise but more blue than green. Her paws are white, but blend very slowly into her lower legs' light fur. Her tail is light underneath, fading like the rest of her body into the dark on top, ending with the darker fur wrapping around and darkening to black. Aspenwhisker is a fairly small cat, but not too much smaller than the other she-cats in Meadowclan, and still very slim.
Personality | Aspenwhisker has a quiet disposition, but because of this she spends a lot of time watching the other cats around her rather than speaking with them. For this reason she knows quite a bit about how the cats around her function in relationship and what their schedules and habits are. Unfortunately, this habit has gotten her into trouble. With her vast knowledge of clan cats' personal lives, she tends to let slip secrets without realizing it, and can be a prying nuisance at times. But she is fiercely loyal and would never reveal a single word of her discoveries to a cat of another clan.
She's also a favorite among the camp kits because of her motherly ways and knack for giving good advice. She's just very mellow for the most part, and allows them to crawl all over her when they play, until it gets too rough, then she puts a stop to it. Aspenwhisker has the potential to be a wonderful queen someday. She hopes very much to find a mate at a young age so she can have several litters, kits being a very large part of her life even at her age. She spends most of her time watching them so their mothers can go out on patrol, but tries to stay out of the way when she's not welcome.
Aspenwhisker's quiet demeanor keeps her from asserting herself much, and for this reason her opinions and thoughts on important matters are often overlooked. Once in a while a more assertive friend will step in to make sure her voice is heard, but this is rare. All in all, Aspenwhisker is not shy, not secretive, simply...quiet. Unseen. Unheard. Undiscovered.
Skills | Aspenwhisker will someday be a wonderful mother with her talent for patience. She's a great hunter and tracker, but not so wonderful at fighting of any sort. She also doesn't display her thoughts or feelings on things very easily due to her quiet nature.
History | Aspenkit was born in fairly uninteresting circumstances down in the bottom of a Meadowclan den with three siblings. She was the kit that didn't play-fight, didn't argue, and waited patiently for her turn to eat when she wouldn't be crawling over her brothers and sister. She was the one who didn't spend a lot of time doing much besides watching warriors run in and out of camp for various reasons, usually sitting just inside the den for the majority of the day until her mother would let her out.
And she did love her mother. She loved curling up in her belly for naps and sitting between her paws when she was outside talking with her friends. Her father took lovely care of her too, always coming over to play when he wasn't out on patrol or some other adult business, and he payed special attention to her it seemed.
The two parents took every care to ensure the faith of their children in Starclan, ever hopeful that they would be happy with the beliefs they were raised in. And Aspenkit did love Starclan, with all her heart.
As an apprentice, Aspenkit learned quickly, picking up hunting as if it were second nature, and although fighting was a bit of a problem she learned it as best as she could. She would be able to protect herself if she must. She made sure she always had time to play with the clan's kits and take care of them as she could, even with all the business leading up to her warrior ceremony.
Finally, made a warrior just two moons ago, she is still content to be lying around camp when she can, but just as eagerly rushes out at dawn patrol to bring back a meal for those young cats that she hopes to someday mentor.
