Dappledflower has a immense belief in StarClan. She believes that StarClan is watching all of the new clans as they grow and thrive. She believes that when a cat dies they join their starry ancestors to spend the rest of eternity in the stars watching the clans and helping them out through messages. She thinks that if you do good things in your life, like care for the future of your clan, then you will be rewarded in the afterlife. She hopes that StarClan will reward her efforts at caring for kits by making her the one who looks after kits and apprentices that die before they are made warriors. She also hopes that they will take away her name, Dappledflower, and make it just Mother. She believes that if she stays loyal to them and commits herself to the kits of her clan they will grant her this afterlife fantasy.

Dappledflower is a beautiful she-cat, well at least she thinks she is. She has long hair that poofs out slightly making her larger than her actual size, though not some huge big poof ball. Her pelt is mostly very white, seeing as all the colors have white mixed in with them. Her chest, paws, and belly seem to be the only parts of her pelt that are not occupied by a splatters of cream, tan, and black. Her tail is the darkest colored part of her body and seems to have the longest of all her hair.
Dappledflower's face is one that is comforting and warm. She has big, light green eyes and a mix of tan, white, and black all over it. Her ears seem to be perfectly proportioned for her body, in fact her whole structure seems to be perfect (Rabbitstep love perfection, perhaps this is why he was drawn to her at first?).

Dappledflower is a gentle, kind cat. She almost never looses her temper and thinks that kits are gifts from StarClan. She has a great loyalty to MeadowClan, but even more to StarClan. In her book the warrior code is what makes life livable. Without it life would be chaos. She may seem a bit obsessed with StarClan, but it is simply just her beliefs.
Dappledflower loves kits. She always has and she always will. She hopes that she will be able to care for every single kit that comes in her time at MeadowClan, even when she is the oldest elder in camp. It seems that Dappledflower has a loyalty not only to MeadowClan and StarClan but also to kits, because of this. She is often found repairing or improving the Queens den and loves to tell others of the stories she has gathered from her experience.
Dappledflower is a wonderful friend, and will come to comfort others when called upon. In a way she feels as if she is the mother of MeadowClan, not because she made it (which she didn't) but because of the roles she plays in it. She is quite cautious of new faces and of having any friendships in PineClan (she thinks it will destroy her hope at her ideal StarClan afterlife).
Dappledflower might be the most vain cat in the history of any clan. She literally thinks that every single tom wants her and that they all are secretly planning to steal her away from Rabbitstep. She'll stop conversations between other cats just to point out that she looked better than them. Beware if there are puddles on the ground; Dappledflower will sit in front of the puddles for hours on end admiring her own beauty.

Dappledflower's strength isn't hunting, or fighting, or scenting, or any of the other normal things. Her strength is raising kits. In fact, she is so good at raising them she often takes time off of being a warrior not only when she is expecting (this is her first litter) but when others are expecting. She helps them through their pregnancy, birthing, and raising. Then after all the kits have become apprentices she returns to being a warrior.

Kithood
Dappledkit was born in ForestClan with her two brothers. Even at a young age she did not get along with them at all. She was an outcast; because of her gender or just because Cloudkit and Mousekit didn't like her very much she doesn't know. Maybe it was a combination of both, or maybe it was Dappledkit who drove them away with her vain nature. Even as a kit she was vain, though not nearly as much.
Dappledkit sat and admired her refection in a puddle in front of the nursery. She heard the playful calls of her brothers as they wrestled over who could have the bigger of the two mouses they were given for dinner. Already Dappledkit knew that Mousekit would win, he always won. Cloudkit was very hopeful though, never giving up. Dappledkit continued to look at herself, moving her head to see it at different angels. "Still looking at yourself, are you?" The voice had a venomous, taunting tone in it. Dappledkit looked up at the brother that has spoken. It was Cloudkit. Oh how he could be such a pain. Dappledkit focus behind her brother to see that Mousekit had won the bigger mouse. "Still loosing to Mousekit, are you?" She sneered at him, just as venomously. Cloudkit seemed to find that it was time to go eat his mouse, for he padded away with a huff. Dappledkit rolled her eyes then continued to admire herself.
Apprenticehood
Dappledpaw was quite a stubborn apprentice. Her mentor was a she-cat by the name of Hawkwhisker. Unfortunately for Dappledpaw, Hawkwhisker was not vain at all and often scolded Dappledpaw for sitting around and staring at reflections of herself when she could be doing something that actually helped the clan. Hawkwhisker taught Dappledpaw furiously though, never giving up on the vain apprentice. Dappledpaw's apprentice day were filled with work; Hawkwhisker found that if she kept Dappledpaw busy she didn't gander at herself as much, she was too preoccupied. So Hawkwhisker now had to find something for her apprentice to do every second of they day, tiring work. Dappledpaw's vain-ness did not fade though, it grew. the more she didn't look at herself the more she wanted to.
Dappledpaw was cleaning the Elders' den, again. Hadn't she already cleaned it that week? She was pretty sure she had... She sighed as she took perfectly good moss out of the nests and replaced it with more perfectly good moss. Something caught her attention as she placed a piece down in the nest, a shinning spot on the ground. She dropped the moss and padded over to the puddle. Oh how long had it been since she had seen herself? She tilted her head, finding her best angel, not noticing the cat that had entered the den. "What are you doing? I told you to clean the bedding! Not watch yourself!" Dappledpaw jumped at Hawkwhisker's voice. She knew she was in trouble. "I was... I'm sorry Hawkwhisker, it won't happen again." Dappledpaw scampered back to the nests, avoiding her mentor's eyes. "It better not." Hawkwhisker sat down, watching her apprentice. Dappledpaw was aware that she would probably never be able to be alone while doing her jobs now.
Warriorhood
Dappledflower became a warrior, even with her stubborn attitude and vain-ness. So what if she had become one a bit later than Cloudnose and Mousewhisker? At least she was one. It was a couple moons after she earned her warrior name that Cedarstar gathered the group of cats to leave ForestClan. Dappledflower, not begin close to her brothers, knew that she would go with Cedarstar. Plus, Rabbitstep was going and she had quite the crush on him (they were friends at this point, not mates yet). So off Dappledflower went to find their new home. Over the course of the journey Rabbitstep and her got closer and closer, to her delight. By the time they found the new land the two were in love. Dappledflower chose to stay in MeadowClan because she already viewed Cedarstar as her leader. The journey had made her extremely loyal to him.
Dappledflower gazed upon their new home. They had found it! They could live without ForestClan! Oh how she wished her brothers could see her now, a cat on top of the world. Dappledflower turned to Rabbitstep and smiled at him warmly. Oh how she loved that tom... She turned her attention away from him to listen to Cedarstar as he began to speak, "We have found our home. We can live without ForestClan. We can be our own clan." Dappledflower was delighted by this. They would still be a clan! She could still be a warrior! She looked back at Rabbitstep for a moment, delighted that she would be able to live with him as mates; not just friends.
