(I adopted Spottedpaw from Thistle C:)
Name | Spottedpaw [Spottednose]
Gender | She-cat
Age | Twelve moons
Rank | Apprentice
Clan | StreamClan
Beliefs | Spottedpaw used to be a non-believer, the idea too mind-boggling and strange for her young brain to grasp. Over time, though, she began to listen to others' passion and faith and started to gradually accept StarClan's existence. It just made sense. She's now an active believer, always eager to hear about them. Sometimes, she wonders why she didn't understand before but like usual, she doesn't think much about her starry ancestors. Some things just don't change.
Parents | Chaska - Father [NP] ; Flameflower - Mother [NP]
Siblings | Eaglepaw - Sister [NP]
Other Kin | Uyarak - Uncle [NP]
Mate | Not yet
Crush | Not yet
Kits | Not yet
Apprentice/Mentor | Brindlepelt
Appearance | The soft calico pelt that covers her still growing frame is, for the most part, flame-hued. Like a fluffy winter coat, it embraces her small frame. It's overlapped by black patches, one running up her neck and down her head on the right side. Next to it is a ginger color, and below are soft, frosted fur. A snowy underbelly, chest, and legs completes this she-cat's appearance.
Now, for her facial features. Two pale, velvety ears sit on top of her round head. Below are a pair of dull yellow eyes. No, not that her emotions are drab. Just the color. Her eyes always have glimmers of mischief in them and are rarely subdued. She also has a nose dabbed with a light, baby pink color, placed right after and above droopy silver whiskers.
Personality | Spottedpaw is friendly and caring, always ready to lend a helping paw. She's also quite carefree and doesn't think too deeply; many cats think that she is younger than she really is because of her playful nature.
This sweet calico is a bit scatterbrained and forgetful, and is far too trusting for her own good. She adores the company of others; even if the company prods fun at her intelligence. For poor Spottedpaw has the intelligence of a cactus, and yet she always tries to find good in everyone.
Not being the brightest star in Silverpelt doesn't really affect her enthusiasm for training, however. She loves every moment of it and is usually the obedient little apprentice, hanging on to every word her mentor says.
Of course, like any other cat, she has a mischievous side too. Sometimes, when she's bored and is forced to stay in camp, she'll find a way to get into trouble without taking a step into the forest.
Spottedpaw doesn't seem to care about what other cats think about her. She acts like her old self even when she's speaking to a high-ranking feline.
She also adores kits. She adores anything tiny, helpless, and innocent. This calico can't bring herself to turn away lost and injured kits from other Clans, and just can't kill a litter of baby bunnies that she had discovered during a hunting session. Cats think of her as crazy when she does things like that, especially in the middle of leaf-bare, but she backs up her decisions by saying stuff like, "We'll have more prey later on, and it'll be nice and fat and big then!"
Spottedpaw, no matter how dumb, has a kind soul and is willing to die for her Clan.
Skills | Most will describe Spottedpaw as 'a sweet she-cat who holds enthusiasm for everything'. Her sister describes her as 'a useless lump of fur that sucks at hunting and fighting'.
Eaglepaw's words do have some truth in them, though. Yes, Spottedpaw isn't a great battler, and yes, she isn't an astounding hunter. But this little calico is cheerful and optimistic, and enjoys everything she does while training.
The one useful ability she possesses is climbing. A long tail, short legs, and sense of balance are all ingredients that help her scurry up and down trees, catching birds and squirrels on thick branches. So she's not scared of heights, but she feels the opposite for water.
Spottedpaw's fishing skills have improved somewhat over the moons of training, although she will still not submerge herself fully in water. Y'know how they say that water makes you lighter? When Spottedpaw goes for a dip, not that she ever does, she can barely drag herself out of the stream.
History | Flameflower was a member of ForestClan. Chaska was a member of nothing. That was also true for his brother, Uyarak, who later turned kittypet and went to live with Twolegs.
Chaska stumbled upon the pretty ginger she-cat one day and took a liking to her. They talked and Flameflower also grew to love the tom.
So the she-cat gave birth to two female kits on one of her visits.
They lived in a small den underneath a willow tree, sheltered by the massive branches and leafy limbs. Chaska and his brother, Uyarak, provided for Flameflower and her young'uns, not daring to move the kits to a safer home in ForestClan. Spottedkit and Eaglekit were much too weak.
Then Uyarak vanished. Chaska was certain that he had gone off to live with Twolegs.
But the pair had to go on, so they continued to raise their children with love and care. Chaska was a firm believer in StarClan; he had thought that cats went to a heaven when they died, but he never had a true name for it until he met Flameflower. Eaglekit and Spottedkit spent extra time with their 'special' (meaning favorite) parent. The calico grew close to her sire, who she had always admired. So she was taught that StarClan was the only thing there was.
Later on, when the kits were able to run and get in all sorts of mischief, their mother felt a longing to go back to her Clan and so she took her newly-made family with her to relocate ForestClan. It took a few days for them to find it, but they did.
Chaska never laid eyes on his new home, however. A monster drained the life from him.
Flameflower grieved. Because Spottedkit and her sister could not hunt, they became quite weak. Luckily, their mother finally grew aware of what was occurring and she took them to StreamClan. She died when sickness spread through her body.
Now, Spottedpaw and her sister grow tall and happy in their new home, following their own chosen paths as warriors.
