(( Rolo said I could roleplay as Silverpaw, so I am guessing she's given the okay to Silverpaw being used... O-o; I don't know 100%... I feel like such a fool.))
Clambering out of the apprentice den, groggy and confused the young silver she-cat let out a mew as she yawned. Her blue eyes flashed open and shook off the last of her sleepiness. Why did she wake up early again...? Oh right! She has a new mentor. Look Starclan, didn't need your help there to get a new mentor. You stupid tale for kits!
Sighing, she gazed over to the side and instantly she began to giggle with excitement. Her silver fur ruffling more and more and she strode over to the warriors den to gaze in. "Littleflower, are you awake? Littleflower?" She gazed in, her blue eyes blinking with excitement and her paws pushing at the ground. "I hope you are... Don't tell me you went hunting without me..." her heart began to race. "Please don't tell me you went hunting without me! All the best pieces of prey would be gone!!!" she stepped side to side, mewing weakly. Paranoid. Her ears flattened to her head. "Littleflower!!!!"

Littleflower blinked as sunlight poured through the den. She had been awaken by something and she was going to murder whatever it was! She jumped out of her mossy nest and looked down upon her opponent. It was Silverpaw...she let her fur lie flat again and smoothed out her tail in a couple licks. "Well, hello, Silverpaw. It's a surprise to see you here. Let's go out into the camp and get something to eat. You shouldn't be in here. For future reference let me up on my own. You wouldn't want some cranky old warrior biting off your tail for waking them up. I learned that the hard way when I was a new apprentice."
She padded out into the clearing with her apprentice at her side. She knew that with any other cat she would have become the cranky warrior that she had just warned Silverpaw about. Right now she didn't really want to frighten her little apprentice in any way. She told herself to be patient with the small she-cat. She was ambitious and excited, just as any apprentice would be. Silverpaw reminded Littleflower of herself in many ways. She settled herself down next to the young cat and started munching on her breakfast. "So tell me, Silverpaw. What would you like to do today? I'll give you a choice. We can battle train or we can hunt. I'll let you pick. We will have to explore our territory first, but after that the choice is all yours."
OOC:: Okay, Rii. What Rolo says goes.

Instantly, her paranoia settled and disappeared and the young apprentice listened to her mentor. "Okay, I will tell myself not to wake any warriors up." She mewed softly, flicking her ears and gazing up with admiration at her mentor. Eager to do something and hearing the question, her stomach rumbled and the thought of eating some prey filled her maw. "Why don't you... Train me on hunting?" She asked, tilting her head. She taught herself how to hunt before, but that was on leaves and she was just a kit. Her and Darkpaw used to "hunt" all the time. She flicked her tail. She had a whole bunch of questions to ask Littleflower and she had so much to learn.
"Littleflower, what was it like when you were an apprentice?" she asked, her eyes filled with the usual peppy happiness that was usually within her characteristics. Nothing could ruin her day today, nothing. She had a new mentor, she had just become an apprentice... The only thing she didn't have was her father. How she loved him, he used to walk into the nursery and play with her and Darkpaw while their mother went to eat.

Oh great, hunting. Well, she would try her best. Maybe her mind will cooperate with her body today. Hopefully, for Silverpaw's sake. Littleflower wasn't the best hunter. She was very impulsive and that NEVER worked to her advantage while hunting. She prefered battle training, but it was young Silverpaw's choice. Littleflower knew she ahd to make sacrfices for the young apprentice, and embarrasing herself was one of those sacrifices.
"Littleflower, what was it like when you were an apprentice?" Littleflower gazed down at her apprentice, trying to think of what she could say. "Well, when I was apprentice age, I was still living with my twolegs. I lived a very sheltered life. I mean I loved my twolegs and they were always so kind to me, but I needed to be free. I had longed for that even when I was a little kit. One day a cat from another garden told me of wildcats that lived in the forest. The stories she told fascinated me and I wanted that life. I was about 8 moons old at the time. When I was nine moons I decided I was tired of my soft life and I left."
Littleflower paused to make sure that Silverpaw was still tuned in for her story. "I came across PineClan and they took me in. Thrushfoot, the cat that found me wandering about the territory, became my mentor and he taught me many things. I was a natural fighter, but hunting always discouraged me. I was anxious to my show my mentor what I could do. Thrushfoot was a very freindly cat, but he was impatient and it took alot to impress him. I spent all of my apprenticeship trying to make him proud of me. When I was about 17 moons, we were hunting, just the two of us. We heard a noise from under a bush, and a badger attacked us."
Littleflower stopped and made sure this story wasn't upsetting the young she-cat. She knew her father was killed by a fox when she was very young. She had been on the patrol when the tom was killed. She continued her story. "Thrushfoot tried to fight it off, but it was too strong for him. It grabbed a hold of him and threw him against a rock, breaking his spine. I fought the badger the best I could. I finally was able to scare it away. A passing patrol heard the commotion and finished the badger off. Thrushfoot died back at the camp because his wounds were too much for him. He was internally bleeding because a shattered bone fragment pierced his stomach. Before dying, he called me to the medicine den. He told me he was very proud of me and a bunch of other sappy stuff. I was made a warrior that night and spent my entire vigil thinking about Thrushfoot and what he had done for his Clan." Littleflower gazed down at the spunky apprentice, waiting for her response.

Silverpaw listened intently to the story, her ears twitching and her heart lunged in her chest after hearing how her mentor lost the one thing that helped her, someone who cared for her. Just like Silverpaw had lost her father. "All the cats in other clans, according to my mother, she used to tell me all this stuff about cats and their petty starclan rumors. It just proves that they are curses. Nothing real, in my opinion. I'm sure other cats could agree." She closed her muzzle, her brilliant blue eyes looking up to her mentor and she let out an eerie smile.
"So you were a kittypet?" She calmly asked, wrapping her tail around her forepaws. "My mother said she was a kittypet before she met my father... She said she fell in love with him at first sight..." she let out a dreamy sigh and then snapped back to reality. "You're not a good hunter? I want to learn everything Littleflower and I want only to have you teach me. No other cat... " Her eyes blazed with determination and her fur ruffled. "I want to make you proud like you made Thrushfoot! I'm going to work hard as your new apprentice, I promise! I will learn everything and become the best warrior this clan will have!"

Littleflower twitched her ears at Silverpaw. "Now, Silverpaw they are cats just like you are. They have their own beliefs and you should be resectful of that. StarClan may be a curse to you, but to others it may not be. You have to be careful other cats will go as far as hurting you if you insult their beliefs directly." Littleflower made sure not to include anything about her own beliefs. She feared that it may set her and Silverpaw off on the wrong foot.
Littleflower looked down at her apprentice, "That's neat that your mother was a kittypet. I have always believed in love at first sight. But it has not happened to me yet...I hope it will one day. What about you? Do you believe in love at first sight?"
Littleflower felt her heart flutter and she purred at her apprentice's words. "I want to be the best mentor I can be, Silverpaw. If you help me get to be that, I'll help you also. And trust me, Silverpaw, I know you're going to make me proud. Keep in mind that i won't always no everything though and you may have to learn certain things from other cats at times. Like hunting you may want to get extra help from an expert. And I know you will be." Littleflower couldn't stop purring. It was a nice feeling to know someone admired her as much as she had admired Thrushfoot. She wondered if he had ever felt that way when she praised him.

Hearing her mentor purr, Silverpaw couldn't help but purr in rhythm. She nodded at her mentors words and then nodded again to herself. "I do believe in love at first sight, yes. " Her eyes flashed with admiration. "For a she-cat as beautiful as you..." She lashed her silver tail softly across the grass and pawed it with her paws. "I'm sure you'll have a mate as soon as possible, when one cat lays his eyes on you BAM! You become a queen! "
She sat down, smiling and licking her chest fur with a few embarrassed licks. " I'm really hungry now, let's go hunting and teach me in all the ways you know and who knows, I might teach you too! " her eyes flashed with happiness and she brushed up against her mentor, purring again and rubbing her head affectionately to her mentors neck. "I want to be as beautiful and strong as a warrior as you are, Littleflower. Please teach me in the ways of a warrior and don't go easy on me. "

Littleflower purred again as Silverpaw pressed her head into her mentor's neck. She couldn't help, but feel very special from all this praise. "Oh, Silverpaw. I am going to have to work extra hard not to fall in love. That way I can spend my time training you to be a Warrior." Littleflower stood and gazed down at the apprentice. "Well I think we'd better get this show on the road. I need to show you the borders before we get hunting."

"Don't worry Littleflower, if you fell in love I will learn by myself! " She smiled softly, closing her eyes and nodding. "Yes, let's go and get the borders checked and then you can train me on how to hunt and tomorrow perhaps you can teach me how to fight? " Her eyes sparkled still with admiration. First day with her mentor and already she was bubbly and all giddy.
She had no idea what to go, everything was vaguely familiar but that was because she was a kit when she arrived here. Her eyes flashed behind her and she tilted her head, looking onwards.

OOC:: We can start a thread on the border so Littleflower can teach Silverpaw there. I'll let you start since it will be your turn The calico she-cat stood as her apprentice whizzed ahead of her. Well, Silverpaw doesn't hate her yet. She must be doing a good job so far. She purred and lifted her head to the sky. "How am I doing Thrushfoot?" She mumbled. "I am going to try to train her just like you trained me. Please guide and teach me how to make her a wonderful warrior. I need the help. I want to make you proud of me." Littleflower lowered her head and looked ahead of her. Uh-oh, Silverpaw was gone already. She better catch up with her so the young apprentice didn't fall into a badger set! Littleflower pranced forward towards the entrance of the camp. StarClan give me strength...
