Appearance | Put plainly, Sparrowclaw is a big cat. He has a broad chest, wide shoulders, and big paws. His fur is mostly a cinnaminny-brown color, his muzzle, inner-ear, tail-tip, and claws are all a light tan, and the tips of his toes are a gray-tan. His coat is rather long-haired, and he has to groom it quite a bit to keep the snarls and tangles out.
His most noticeable features are his ears, which are quite large, and his eyes, which are a burning orange.
Personality | Sparrow is the typical gentle giant. While he's not as large as other toms - or even some she-cats - he is remarkably gentle. He takes the standard clan-above-all outlook on life, but he takes it a few steps farther. To him, the clan is all that matters. If he were to find a mate, it would mostly be because of love, but a portion would also be to further the clan numbers. He would gladly die for the clan in battle.
On a less general scale, he's a rather laid-back cat. He's more likely to sleep than hunt, and if he were to get an apprentice, he would probably send them on solo hunting missions. That's not to say he's lazy, of course. Well, he is, actually, but not extremely so. He'll be more than willing to go on a patrol if he's asked, and when the mood strikes him, he will be quite active.
Sparrowclaw is, at heart, a gossiper. He loves to know what's going on, partially because he always seemed to be the last to know ANYTHING when he was a kit and apprentice. So now, he makes it his business to know things before most of the clan. He loves nothing more than sharing news while sharing tongues.
Skills | Sparrowclaw is a decent hunter, when he can be motivated to go. Mostly, though, he shows his prowess at fighting. Not necessarily stand-there-and-beat-each-other's-fur-off, but sneak attacks, strategy. Of course, he's not the best mentor, or at least he doesn't think he would be. And he's glad that he's neither deputy or leader. He doesn't do well under the stresses of such positions.
History | Sparrowclaw was born as Sandy, to a kittypet mother and loner father. He spent most of his childhood competing with his sister for his father's attention. He was a rather doting parent, much more than Lilly. Suffice to say, when the Clan cats came, Sparrow and his sister both were happy to go their seperate ways. He was accepted into Pineclan, and she went to Streamclan. Since then he passed through the 'prentice stage. It was the happiest moment of his life, standing beneath the huge, clear night-sky, being named a warrior to protect his clan.[/ul]
