Name | Reedpaw
Gender | Tom
Age | 11 moons
Rank | Apprentice
Clan |Forestclan Meadowclan Fogclan
Beliefs| Reedpaw believes that StarClan exists, but no more than that. He believes that only the medicine cats should communicate with them. Starclan might be amazing, but he feels since he's not a medicine cat, StarClan doesn't really apply to him in the same way.
Parents | Bluestorm(NP,Forestclan Meadowclan), Mouseheart(PC, Forestclan Meadowclan Pineclan)
Siblings | Ashpaw(PC,Forestclan Meadowclan), Greypaw(PC, Forestclan Meadowclan), Cloudkit(NP, deceased), Birchkit(PC, Meadowclan), Rabbitkit(PC, Meadowclan Pineclan)
Other Kin | Reedpaw has many interesting relatives.
Mate | not yet
Crush | not yet. Likes Snowpaw, but then everybody does.
Kits | not yet.
Apprentice/Mentor | I’ll bring this up somewhere. Either one of my existing cats, or I’ll put it on the apprenticeships board.
Appearance |Reedpaw has a variety of colors in his fur, but only in very small quantities, but his main coat is a dark brown tabby. He has moderate grey paws. His fur is an average length, and is naturally easy to keep clean. Reedpaw resembles both his father, Mouseheart, and his grandfather on his mother’s side, Brackenpelt. His eyes are a deep brown, and appear to see right through you when you are close to him. Usually, though, this is only because he is not paying attention. His tail is longer than normal, and usually randomly waves about in the most serious and irrelevant moments.
Personality | minimum of five sentence description
Reedpaw is rather absent minded and has a short attention span, and occasionally will refuse to do much at all after sunhigh. He is quite loyal, but he doesn’t think much of the warrior code. I mean if there’s a rule against it, it MUST be fun! These qualities make it very difficult for him to learn his warrior skills, although he is close to warrior age, and is very good at these skills when he puts his mind to it. The problem is, he almost never puts his mind to it. In arguments, he just chooses whatever side. He does not like attention, unless the attention is from his fellow apprentices or trusted friends. To sum it all up he is a mischievous apprentice who never takes life seriously.
Skills | Reedpaw is agile, and is generally pretty good at most of his duties(if he doesn’t get carried away, that is). In battle, he usually analysis the situation, and then either hangs around the edges, or goes berserk, depending on the kind of battle. He is quite clumsy, and is much too impatient, do hr id s quite poor hunter. He is mostly best at tracking, often being the first to find something dangerous on the territory. His speed also makes him the one to call to bring help.
History | Reedpaw was one of four kits born to Bluestorm on the journey from ForestClan. He was the second largest of the four kits, the other three being Greykit, Ashkit, and Cloudkit. This made a delay in the journey, which lasted almost a moon until the kits were large enough to be able to travel(by being carried by the other cats). Cloudkit, the weakest of the four, died two moons later.
The journey finally came to an end. When the new clans were made, Reedkit, Greykit, and Ashkit were made into Meadowclan Apprentices, and most of the original cats joined Meadowclan too. Yellowclaw(DC,Forestclan Fogclan), however, who Reedpaw had always shared a close bond with on the journey, joined Fogclan instead.
Quite rapidly, though, he grew unhappy with his new life. His mentor told him time and time again that he should learn to just "listen and pay attention!" After a while, this escalated to the mentor criticizing him horribly in front of the leader. To Reedpaw, he felt that the entire world was against him, and everybody hated him, which was partially true. He could not stand to remain there, he would never be able to do anything right in the others eyes. He often does overreact, but this was horrible. Many of the warriors were brainwashed into thinking he was no good. There was only one thing to do...
He ran. Very quickly. He just kept on running, past the large, dusty plains; he never returned to Meadowclan.
The next morning, he was found near the river by a FogClan patrol, of whom Yellowclaw was among. Yellowclaw immediately recognized him. Reedpaw begged and pleaded to go with them, and then told them a hurried and exaggerated story of "How all of MeadowClan was trying to kill him" Finally they gave in, seeing as the apprentice was helpless and desperate.
When they reached the camp, the leader and the rest of the clan were suspicious. At least they were before the leader, after a short discussion with Yellowclaw, announced to the clan that Reedpaw was harmless, and that he would have to stay as he had nowhere to go.
Naturally, the rest of the clan was still suspicious for a long time, and some still are (though now mostly because of his behavior rather than his origin).
Later, he slowly began to learn some news from Meadowclan. Bluestorm had had another litter of kits, and Mouseheart had left to join Pineclan. Life went on, and he is now close to being a warrior. What could happen in the future?
