Alright, so the general gist of things is that my character, Rain, is currently wandering around (as in outside, around, not inside) PineClan territory because he has nothing better to do. One evening, he comes across Willowpaw struggling with fighting off a rat attack by herself. Having an odd moment of nobility, he decides to go and help the poor little girl. During the battle, however, he becomes gravely injured, so gravely that he will die if he does not get medical attention. Feeling grateful to the stranger for saving her life, Willowpaw fetches a patrol of warriors to bring the loner to the medicine cats.
After being healed, Rain falls in love with life in PineClan. He feels that he might find a new purpose here, and so asks to join. Unfortunately, he's had a run-in with Gingerstar once before, and so she is less than inclined to let him join. After the Elders convene in a meeting, the long-awaited verdict arrives:
Gingerstar will allow Rain to join the clan under one condition. She will be his mentor and train him in the ways of the warrior.
