This is a new section of the ProBoards' Terms of Service. In short, it states that everything posted on ProBoards belongs to ProBoards. Our writing, ideas, characters, plots, etc. belong to ProBoards. They can take them and do what they want with them, and because we've agreed to the TOS (we have to) we can't stop them.

A lot of sites have proposed a move to another host. InvisionFree, I know, does not have this in their TOS. However, it would take some adjusting for all - or most - of us. I know coding is different on InvisionFree than it is here, having a nice skin might take a little longer.

Basically, I want to know what you think. Move or no? Keep in mind that this really is just a warriors role play, and the worst they could do is sell the ideas to the Erins. Though, I think seeing Miststar's plot in a warriors book would be awesome. So, what do you think about this all?

Yeah, too much trouble to move. This is annoying, but it doesn't really impact us too much.

i think you're all overreacting. proboard's is not actually going to do anything with what they "own". it's all a formality, really. if you read it carefully, it's actually saying something more along the lines of "proboards is a free hosting site, and to keep it that way, we're going to own all your stuff so we don't get forced by the government to bring in revenue. it's "ours" after all. *winkwink*". or at least, so says my brother, the law student. o.o

I can understand where Slug is coming from. It's like doing all the work for a project but your group members taking all the credit. In fact, the very idea of this very post being ~ owned ~ by someone who did not even look at it irks me greatly. e.e Just one of my 'DJFKLAJSDF MINE' traits that I have. /selfish

But... would a move be that bad? Staying here at proboards would be easier, but a move could help Forest of Fate. Things that are not needed can be thrown out instead of rotting around in a board no one goes to anymore. Threads can be deleted and help FoF be less cluttered. -eyebrow raise-

I really don't care, either way. We can stay or we can go. Maybe a move will be good for Forest of Fate. Maybe it will be bad. Who knows?

Hardy has a point about old threads cluttering things up, but those are because our poor admins are so short on time.

I think it's ultimately to Crow. I think he'll do whatever's best.
