now i know that i just joined this site and all, so i really have no say in it, but i have enough experience with proboards to have some idea of what we're talking about.
there's a reason i only roleplay on proboards forums, you know but that is better left unsaid and is irrelevant to the topic.
invisionfree just seems a bit cluttered, honestly, and i really hate how you can't change your name. doesn't an admin have to do it for you or something? or maybe that's ipbfree.

anyways, i think we should stay.
sure, technically proboards would own our stuff or whatever, but would it really be that different? people steal others' stories and art all the time online, and there is no way anyone can stop it. why would it be that different if someone else owned a part of it? i mean, really.
besides, i think it would be pretty cool if they somehow contacted erin (all three) and got her to use our idea
so, um, yeah.

personally, I just joined forest of fate but if you moved, I would follow. I don't like the idea of someone else owning something I did all the work on but the part which really troubles me is this: " YOU FURTHER AGREE THAT THE PROBOARDS PARTIES MAY PUBLISH OR OTHERWISE DISCLOSE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IN CONNECTION WITH THEIR EXERCISE OF THE LICENSE GRANTED UNDER THIS SECTION. " meaning they have the right to publicly display all the information you gave them about yourself when you signed up. (birthdates, names etc.) If they actually exercise this, it could result in identity theft and we would not have any rights against proboards because we agreed to it.

Xander has a point, but I think it's a small risk. Besides, I think it says somewhere else in the contract (although I'm not 100% certain) that they won't exploit you, yadda yadda.
