Beliefs| As a kittypet, Socks has no beliefs in StarClan or anything else. Though he has heard of StarClan from neighboring Clans around him, he knows too little about StarClan to truly believe. He believes that you go the: Big Sky, and live there after you die - which sounds most like what some humans believe as Heaven.

Appearance | Spiderpaw is a slender, lean, long-legged tuxedo tom. His main pelt consists of black, with a purely white underbelly and chest. The white from his chest leads up to his face, wrapping around his muzzle and making a broad stripe between his eyes. The rest of his face is black, as is his chin.

The white on his underbelly almost looks like an hourglass, wide and then real skinny, and then wide again. Spiderpaw's long limbs are dipped in white, stopping short at his "ankles" or "elbows" in human terms.

Spiderpaw also has a more "feminine" look almost, (he is still a tom) with all the whiskers sprouting from atop his eyes and from either side of his maw. The fan out, and then droop downwards slightly, falling over his eyes. With a long black tail he gains a lot of balance; and with his sleek, black and white pelt, and keen greenish-yellow eyes he earns himself an overall handsome appearance.

Personality | Spiderpaw is a very shy, reserved cat with a mysterious look about him. He often keeps to himself, though he can get very playful and noisy when having fun with other apprentices. It is easy to figure out what he is thinking or how he is feeling by his actions or facial expressions.

Spiderpaw is usually just as friendly as his brother, without much of a temper, though he can get rather independent and bold with his words and is often sarcastic.

You can often find him hunting to relieve himself of any stress, or gazing of into the distance, just thinking. Might I mention, he can be such a flirt? Those are on his more... bold days? Where he dares to come out of his shell to his clan mates finally.


Skills | Spiderpaw is probably one of the swiftest cats in PineClan, quick and snappy to get things done even with daily things. He can easily wind around obstacles, and can go long distances for fast prey without getting exhausted. Spiderpaw is gifted with long, lean running legs - good stamina and excellent balance. This makes him a great hunter, less of a fighter, unless it comes to slipping around the slower, bulkier cats in battle or distracting an enemy with some swift movements.

History | Socks was born as a rogue, named Spider then. His mother was Cloud and his father was Viper. He had several other siblings - Badger, the dominant of the litter; and a few others; one which he remembered closely: Fawn, their sister. They had lived in the forest located behind some twoleg houses, living a comfortable life. But it only lasted a short while. His mother, scared by the twolegs approaching, had left him and his brother - Badger behind, hoping to retrieve them later since she could not carry both at once. The twolegs took them in, trying to nurse them to health; and before either knew it they had received new names. Socks and Jake.

They liked the kittypet life, though at one point they hoped to find their parents and siblings out in the woods. Escaping from the twolegs grip; they found themselves hopeless and disappointed that some twolegs and their had torn down the forest and replaced it with more houses. They made their way down to where the four Clans were residing; exhausted after a long journey; and left with more sorrow that no clan had heard of Cloud or Viper. They soon decided to live a life as a warrior; choosing PineClan as they had no belief in this so called StarClan and were most comfortable in the territory. He is now called by Spiderpaw.
