Name: Grayfang
Gender: Tom
Age: 37 Moons
Rank: Warrior
Clan: StreamClan
Beliefs: Grayfang has a newly found faith in StarClan, though his connection is far from strong. The fierce, and former rogue, though past abandoned any old belief he once clung to, is still finding the path of a relationship with StarClan a bit bumpy. Being able to honestly state you believe and follow the dead of your kind, can be somewhat rough and a bit of a blow to one's ego; Grayfang certainly being no exception. Though Grayfang admits he follows this so-called belief, he would not be the one to be appointed any duty such as a Medicine Cat whereas faith in such a thing is minimum- requirement. Quite frankly, the stubborn tomcat has developed a crush on StreamClan's own Medicine Cat, Badgernose.
Parents: Claw [father, rogue, np], Silver [mother, rogue, np]
Siblings: Storm [sister, rogue, np], Whisper [sister, rogue, np]
Other Kin: None
Mate: Not Yet
Crush: Badgernose [streamclan medicine cat, played by allie]
Kits: Not Yet
Apprentice: Featherpaw [streamclan apprentice, played by kiddo]
Appearance:
Grayfang is all around, simply, large. Though unlike most other bulky tomcats, he is not only large, but particularly slender for such a build. This overall appearance suggests something very powerful, as does it overcome others to occasionally become intimidated by his great size. Grayfang sports a very thin, (often matted) stone-gray pelt. Amongst this, there are only two colors which circulate throughout his body: stone-gray and white, save his irises and the leathery salmon-pink insides of his ears. His fur is exceptionally shiny and sleek due to his daily StreamClan diet of riverside fish, though no matter how far he goes to fix himself up in the presence of pretty she-cats (especially Badgernose), it always comes off messy and tangled. Staying within the characteristics of Grayfang's basic build and overall facial appearances, he has a very broad face with high cheek-bones, and an elongated round muzzle. Here, his droopy, white whiskers span all about freely, though Grayfang is quite lacking of them where they should normally perch above one's eyes.
All the way from the bottom of his muzzle to his belly is a thick white band. This eccentrically (if you could even consider it to be) white hue is splotched in several places: for one, as previously provided, his chin to his chest to the very end of his big belly. Again, there is white on all four of Grayfang's paws like socks and stockings; only at his rear do they expand upwards slightly more than in the forefront. From Grayfang's scruffy neck to the end of his tail, is there a thick, smoky charcoal stripe; often, tabbies have this marking in placement, which Grayfang has partially inherited as there are very faint traces of ragged, tiger-stripes at his forepaws and tail tip.
Upon the topic of eyesight, Grayfang's own particularly round and widened eyes are a very strikingly pale yellow shade, though they retain somewhat of an early morning green-like glow in the right light. And, if needed to be mentioned (which it appears not so long as you know his name), Grayfang has a lengthy set of claws as fangs, and a nasty bite to go along with it.
Personality: Grayfang is a very fierce, loyal cat. Independent and bold, he will do anything for his Clan. He is a bit stubborn, always trying to state his opinion and make sure it gets through without being ignored or not taken seriously. He is fairly kind, always putting other clan mates before himself, whatever the situation may be.
Grayfang tends to speak his thoughts aloud to others, always wanting to make sure he gets a say in things. This also leads to his stubbornness; though he has a light joking side too. This tom believes everyone has rights, and would die for his family and friends. Courageous in battle, and usually trying to take a leading spot in situations instead of slipping into the shadows; most cats think he would make a good deputy.
He has a soft spot for kits, and would probably make a good father one day. Grayfang sometimes goes about like an apprentice, clowning around, playing and joking with clan mates like they were all apprentices again, and can be a big flirt.
Skills:
Determined at a frail, young age, it was easy to point out how well Grayfang was growing and how quickly his tiny body blossomed. With his large yet slender build and all the while, muscular limbs, Grayfang was certainly one for a good fight. Anything involving tooth or claw would immediately draw the tomcat's attention, and some had even wondered if he would find enjoyment and entertainment from simply winning the battle - whether it be physically or vocally. This caused a problem for Grayfang at one point, where his parents and (clan cats as this was generally around the point where he was apprenticed in the clan) acquired the idea that Grayfang was some power lusting tomcat. Though he was quite ambitious, even the thought had brought the apprentice into a cloud of frustration.
Hearing was another aspect of Grayfang's skills; this was provoked by his unusually broad ears which are almost always set into action, swiveling from right to left and front to behind.
Besides being rather ambitious and wistful, Grayfang's way of wording is quick of use for his (and those he loves) own good biding. The tomcat can easily slip away from any trouble assumed or actually caused, by him, and is also very vocally manipulative/persuasive. Grayfang's quick switch from stubborn old rogue-mannerism to charming young tomcat is most definitely a winner in his book, causing a small attitude change in his 'opponent' as well. Of course, when he turns on the charm, it normally as hopefully, only works with the lady felines.
Tracking and skillfully planning out perfected and precise battle plans, are something in which Grayfang cannot easily pull off. Commonly, he is found blundering through the camp with a patrol at his heels, pursuing something which quite frankly, does not exist to the others. His sense of smell and sense of difference between stale and fresh scents, is not so fresh itself and so it results like-so.
History:
Grayfang, like most of the warriors in the clans, was born a rogue and joined the Clans from the beginning. He was then known as Fang. His parents were Claw and Silver; two rogue cats who died in rogue battles when Grayfang was about the age of an apprentice. He traveled alone for some time, until he found the newly forming Clans, and decided this was his chance to escape the cruel life of a loner and a rogue. He has quickly caught on to the Warrior Code and the ways of Clan life. Even StarClan has found a place in his heart.
