Through the Mist I see the face Of an angel, who calls my name. I remember you're the reason I have to stay.
See how I capitalized "Mist" and made the song relate to the FogClan plot? o:
'Cause, like, Cedarpaw feels weird 'cause of Mistpelt's takeover thingy, but he can still realize that he needs Silverflower and she can help give him strength. o3o

Right, left. Right, left. That's it. Just keep putting one paw in front of the other. Focus only on what you have to.
The brown apprentice's mind was swimming with thoughts. He found it very difficult to focus on a single thing, and, quite honestly, he was overwhelmed. He'd heard Mistpelt point out reasons why Owlstar wasn't fit to be leader, and they made sense-- that's what bothered him. He'd thought Owlstar was a fine leader until the deputy had opened her mouth to say otherwise.
Am I going against the warrior code by thinking like this? Am I displeasing StarClan? I can't be-- Mistpelt's ideas are all about doing right in their eyes.
The small tom felt so conflicted it made his head hurt. He clenched his jaws and squeezed his eyes shut in an attempt to dull the pain. When he opened them, he saw Silverflower a few foxlengths away, taking a quick break from hunting.
She's beautiful... Wow. I guess I am growing up.
He padded over to the silver she-cat. "Hey. It's me. You wouldn't happen to have any room by you for a very confused cat, would you?" he asked her, attempting a casual smile.

[avatar]http://i46.tinypic.com/14oafqd.jpg[/avatar] Silverflower was, in one word, tired. Ever since Mistpelt's “rise” her mind had been alive with thought. When she attempted to sleep, the thoughts kept her up. When she tried to hunt, the thoughts had her slipping every which way and that. If it had been Green-Leaf, Silverflower probably would have scared off more prey than she could count. But it was Leaf-Bare, and no prey was around to be scared. She didn't know if that was a blessing or not, and so another thought was added to her head. At this rate, she'd get a big head, much like the one other cats always said Blackpaw had. It was odd though, Blackpaw's head looked like the perfect size!
Luckily, some kind cat spoke, pulling the she-cat warrior out of her thoughts of big heads, odd leaders, and StarClan. “Oh hello, Cedarpaw!” She greeted, perhaps a bit too enthusiastically. Taking a few seconds to calm herself (was that her heart thudding in her paws?), Silverflower wondered how she could be so possibly deep in thought, that just the words of another clanmate startled her. Yes, Cedarpaw did yank her out of her musings, but it had been a very abrupt yank, and not completely pleasant. Oh well, what's done is done. “Please do sit! I'm a very confused cat as well and I don't know you think, but perhaps our confusions could cancel each other out.” That would be very nice, very nice indeed. In fact, Silverflower wondered why she hadn't thought of it sooner. “What, if you don't mind me asking, could be confusing you?”

Cedarpaw gave the she-cat a quizzical look before flopping down beside her, the grass around him bending temporarily from the rush of air he created as his body hit the ground. "It's just... so much that I thought I knew is changing all around me." The brown apprentice pawed anxiously at a clump of chervil, the sweet smell calming him a bit and the fern-like leaves tickling his pads ever so slightly. And you know what the worst part is? None of it makes any sense. I mean, everything conflicts. Mistpelt says that what she's doing is sanctioned by StarClan, 'cause it's all about doing right in their eyes. But..." his voice trailed off and he sighed. "But it just doesn't feel right."
ooc: not finished. just fyi. (:
