OOC// This happens a couple IC days after the drop-in thread.
The border's were stale, the smell of Fogclan only lingering upon the ground where she usually marked it. Everything was rotting a round her, in deed and in law. If her clanmates didn't conform, they would be damned and they would take all of Foclan with it. They was indeed a sense of urgency, but Mistpelt didn't allow it to but once flash across her features, however brief it may be. When she reached the border with Streamclan, she sniffed the line where none may cross and proudly sprayed her scent, warning all those heathens to stay on their own impure lands. Tail cocked high, her eyes displayed a sense of superiority as she padded ahead, parallel with the border, marking occasionally as she went. With acute ears pricked, she was eager to scan her surroundings, for both potential prey items and enemies alike. But borders where her main priority, not her stomach, and certainly not without the benefit of her clan before herself. Even if she was writhing I starvation. Licking her lips, her predatory instinct heightened, eyes darting to and fro, half hoping for a witless Streamclanner to breach her boundaries. Oh yes, she could imagine them as stupid as that, if only for a little enjoyment in the process. Her shoulder rocked, claws gleaming from their sheaths as she continued forward, the decaying grass bowing at her paws where she stepped. She paused only once more, to direct her scent more profoundly over her chosen area, slightly into Streamclan territory a mere half foxlength inward, scoffing silently at their insecurity. She broke no bounds, her paws never stepped over the invisible line, but Starclan allowed her the privilege of the extra inches of territory, even if it was just for sheer spite. Turning her head, she let out a self satisfied sigh, ridding her body of the unnoticeable stink of the other, less worthy clan, before she retreated deeper into their own territory, but not by much.
