Okay. Before I type anything, I'd like to say these warnings.
1. I don't mean any disrespect, insult, or any suggestion that the staff aren't doing a great job running the site. I think you guys are awesome and with the extremely busy lives you have you do a whole lot and more. <3 I love you.
2. I'm fully aware that some of these things might already be done/going on right now, but I don't know exactly what. Please try and forgive any misinformation or crimes of audacity I commit.
3. Some of what I say are little things, even though they might sound big - just little additions to the awesome work already done in those areas, a final polishing up.
4. I'm extremely forgetful.
5. I totally understand if you think I'm stupid or crazy - I'm often one, the other, or both at the same time. Feel free to be as harsh to me as possible.
6. Apologies for the roughness - these are just random ideas spilled right from my brain to paper.
Okay dokey!
1. Completely updated records - names, Clans, rules if they need it, etc.
2. Completely updated characters - bios, notebooks, activity levels, aging, etc.
3. Completely updated boards - old threads moved to archives, maybe other stuff.
4. Completely updated plot section - old, unused, or unneeded plot threads that have no affect on FoF at this moment and are gone and done with deleted or moved, and the fresh, current plot threads updated (if possible).
5. Clean-up of OOC boards - old threads deleted (especially in general chat).
6. More drabbles - highly encourage people to do them, possible karma exhange for drabbles.
7. Activity moderation - each member should (if possible) try and have at least one of their cats in a thread, one from each Clan if possible and especially if that cat is involved in a plot. If necessary, they can be allowed to only play a few cats at a time if they're busy and time-pressed - just so they can have some bit of posting going.
8. Major Events livened up - Gatherings don't die, leaders share news, more FogClan plot events, etc.
9. Encourage adoption - and clean up the adoption boards. I'm sure it confuses members when they post on threads of cats that were put up by inactive members months and sometimes years ago.
10. A plainly marked, easily accessible list of all cats.like the one I finished tonight in general chat
11. Official list of all accepted suffixes, list of used prefixes in each Clan and an official prefix suggestion list.
I hope this doesn't make you want to kill me. Remember, I'm NOT saying I expect this all to be done, I'm only thinking out loud of possible ideas for FoF's future. ;D
