There is a site out there that is dying. I know that some of you might not give a crap about that, but I care. I care a whole lot, and I refuse to let it die. Yes, I go there. I have roleplayed, chatted, made characters, and all sorts of things on that site, and it has become important to me. I don't want to loose my friends on that site because it wasn't active enough, or whatever the flip people want from their proboards these days. I just want it to be happy and lively again, but I am in need of assistance.
I have PMd the site's Admin about getting the site back onto it's feet. Though he has not responded, I want to be prepared when he does and his answer is 'yes'. If no, then we can drop the whole thing, but until then, I am going to be ready. No, we need to be ready. I know that this is bad, and just plain horrible of me to ask of you all, but I really need your help.
Yes, maybe the members on that site don't care about their site anymore, but I care. And, yes, it's bad that a site can't be active without the help of others, but are you people really going to let that little fact stop you? I know I would ask for help from other sites if FoF went down the drain. I wouldn't be ashamed, or lower than others because I needed help, and asked for it.
So, I am asking you all to help me to prepare-- just in case the Admin does say yes. I need your help, because I know I can't do it alone. We need to work hard-- very hard-- if that site is going to live, and there are some things that need to be done if that is going to happen, which I will tell that site's Admin if he agrees. There might be changes in my plan to save his site, but no matter.
Those who are willing to help, please PM me and I will PM you back with the link to the site. Then, I want you all to PM me back what you think needs to be done to that site so it becomes active again. Let me tell you now that ADVERTISING will be done last. That site needs to be cleaned up some before more people join, otherwise it will be utter chaos.
I will compose a list of the things that you think needs to be done to that site, and PM it to the Admin. I will not say names in my PM for the sake of everyone's privacy. Please EXPLAIN on what you think needs to be done and why, and please, please, please do not decide things because of opinion, but because of fact. We need solid logic so we can decide what to do with the site.
And, yes, maybe it does seem drastic that I am asking all of this before the Admin has even responded, but you can think anything of me all you want to. It is not going to stop me from doing my damndest to help that site.
ALSO: Do not PM others the url. I do not want people popping up on the Admin's site when they are not going to help.
