Now first, plug in yer iPod. If anything pops up, close it. Make sure iTunes ain't open, either. Once yer iPod is plugged in, follow these instructions.
Click Start > My Computer
There should be an icon there for your iPod.
Click on it.
Go to Tool > Folder Options
This should pop up.
Go to View.
In that white box should be an option that says "Show hidden files and folders". Or something close to that.
Make sure it's clicked.
Hit OK.
The highlighted folder should appear. Click on it.
This highlighted folder should appear in the folder.
Click on it.
There's yer music.
THIS IS THE MUSIC ON YER IPOD CURRENTLY.
If you click on one of the folders, you get this.
Sometimes the information is listed, sometimes it's not.
S'really a guessing game. Anyway, go back to the page with all the files. Hit "back". Then minimize that window.
This again.
Just follow the highlighted folders now, k?
This is the music on yer computer, which is saved into yer iTunes, even if yer not using iTunes.
Copy one of the files (right click > copy).
Go back to the page you minimized.
Paste it in with all the other folders (rick click > paste).
Then, hit back.
After hitting back, go BACK to the page you just backed out of.
After all of that, you can close the windows.
Yer iPod should have all the music you copied at this point.
If not, try again.
Now, this works on my computer, which is a PC, run on XP. And it works on my friend who has Windows Seven. I don't know how it'll work for anything else, and these instructions DO NOT WORK AT ALL fer a Mac, so don't even bother. Go buy a PC. c:
And if this doesn't work, Hardy, I'm sorry. D:
