I'm with Rolo. I wish we wouldn't stereotype so. I lost the illusion that all British people have posh accents at the age of about 8 when two friends of mine (whom I sadly don't see anymore) moved to my old condominium complex from there. Bleah, I hope America doesn't transform Britain too much. That would be utterly horrid. Britain has a varied and rich culture from what I've read of it, and I hope I learn more about your country, Rolo. I'm also with you on the fact that so much of our drama is over-the-top. Heaven knows why people are so addicted to those shows.

What nationality and ethnicity are you? Race: Korean-american Citizenship: U.S. Birthplace: America Parents' Birthplace: South Korea
Where do you live, and how long have you lived there? I live in South Korea, in the capital city of Seoul.
Other than the United States of America, have you lived anywhere but Korea? How about your parents? Nope. My parents were in Korea for most of their life, before they moved to America, got married, and then moved back when I was nine. I've been here for two years.
When you first moved to Korea, did you speak Korean? Did you have any relatives or friends in Korea? I barely knew any Korean before I moved, but even though when I speak I have an accent, I improved and can understand better. My family language goes sort of like this: my parents speak to me in Korean, I answer back in English. Most of my dad's family lived in America, while nearly all of my mom's family still resided in Korea. Because speaking Korean is hard for me, I didn't have any friends here other than school friends. (It's an international school)
How did you come to live in Korea? Well, I detested the idea of moving right from the start, but my parents decided that my siblings and I needed to learn how to speak better Korean, learn Korean culture, and anyways, they wanted to be back in their homeland. They also wanted me to know what other countries are like and how it differs from America.
