"There are worse things than death." -- Tigerheart
Name |
Gender | she-cat
Age | 19 moons
Rank | Warrior
Clan | FogClan
Beliefs| StarClan is the thing for Tigerheart. She believes in all her heart, and she will want you to too. Tigerheart believes in StarClan more than most sane cats could or would. Like a certain FogClanner, she believes that all cats who do not follow StarClan's exact rules have sinned and cannot be forgiven. She thinks the only way to be cleansed is to give up every sin they have committed. Her examples would be not following StarClan's signs or a medicine cat not speaking out when they have a prophetic dream. The bizarrest one is not glorifying StarClan to their full meaning.
Tigerheart will try to "clean" any and every cat she sees. But don't think she isn't smart. She will try to delude you into thinking you have done wrong and must change now or you will forever walk the Dark Forest in shame. Many cats fall under her spell, and they have been poisoned by her insane state of mind. Like most cats would think someone would notice her insane beliefs. But, she keeps quiet about it, and strikes on cats she thinks she can "save" from their sins.
A particular group cats she thinks that can't be saved are PineClan. Early in her insanity of worship, she talked to a PineClan cat about StarClan. They mocked them and ridiculed the awesome StarClan. Tigerheart has nothing to do with that group of cats, she believes their all the same in their corrupt ways. After seeing one cat in that Clan, she soon stereo typed them all to be that way. Tigerheart has labled them as foxdung to anyone that would listen.

Appearance |
Many cats first impressions of this cat is that she could have been a very successful queen or warrior. She just has the appearance. She looks kind, but she's actually quite brutal. She has a scar on her left cheek that is curved. Tigerheart is a dark brown tabby, with light brownish stripes. Her fur is an excellent camouflage to hid in the shadows, so she can spy on her enemies while they least suspect it. Her fur isn't easily dirtied, as she is hidden in the bushes so much she grooms it whenever she's in the camp, to make herself seem like any other cat. In the winter it is fluffed up and thick. Tigerheart's fur is naturally thickset, so it is just a little bit more bulky.
Tigerheart's face is round, and it is easy to mistake her emotions for others. Her nose is pink with black spots around the edges in places. She has fairly good scenting skills, which come in handy for watching her enemies. Tigerheart has black whiskers that go to the edge of her face. Whenever she doesn't feel well her whiskers twitch occasionally. Her eyes are a deep green. Tigerheart's eyes only show her true emotions when's she's in a deep thought or are thinking about what to do about non believers of the rightful way to honor StarClan.
Personality |
Tigerheart in the known definition of the word, is insane. She has believed from the start of her kitten hood in StarClan. But after many things that happened to her, she sort of twisted her vision of StarClan and of her life. After her father abandoned her mother and her, she was sort of torn. Tigerheart heard of StarClan when she turned 4 moons. The elder told them to be great and powerful. She decided cats this strong could do anything so she "allied" herself to them.
Tigerheart has always generally been very bright. But as she grew up she started to be more cunning and plan her own way to convert cats to her way of thinking. The cat that inspired her to become this way was Mistpelt. Tigerheart thinks Mistpelt is the cat who will undo the wrongs the nonbelievers have done to new generations of warriors. Her dream is to one of Mistpelt's few cats who will go up with StarClan. Tigerheart is so determined to change other cats, because she fears that if they do not listen, soon few cats will remain in StarClan, and then they will be forgotten among the Clan's as they go forward in life without StarClan.
Tigerheart is also very cunning. Every cat has doubted what they do is right, correct? Well, she can sort of manipulate that feeling into an utmost horror. Every nice cat doesn't want to dwell in the Dark Forest, with no food or friends. So, she sort of cons cats into believing that they must change their ways or forever be doomed to the Dark Forest for not listening to her words oh so long ago. They begin to feel guilty while she elaborates on what they could do better, and soon they feel corrupted. Most join her, but others think she's eaten a rotten mouse or something.
You may think this cat has nothing to do with the warrior code, as it glorifies things StarClan might not "like". But, Tigerheart follows the Code dutifully. Actually, since she hides her corrupt part so well, many cats think she is only a loyal warrior of her clan. That's the way Tigerheart wants it, to seem likes she's just as abnormal as the rest of them. Her one true weakness is her loyalty to the Code, because StarClan made it, and it must be followed, even if that means denying a prophecy that isn't ethical.
Skills | For however much is wrong in that cats head, she can hunt expertly. From stalking cats and other animals from an early age, she has mastered hunting. It's the one thing that her Clanmates notably honor her for without getting into any bizarre conversations. Tigerheart relaxes while hunting, letting her thoughts drift away from her. The thing that surrounds her is the tiny heart beat of the animal and the thrill of feeding someone for her Clan. Which, since she is excellent hunting, means she has superb sight and hearing as well. She can hear from 10 tail lengths from the camp.
History |
Kittenhood;;
Tigerkit was born to Striker and Hawktail. Back with ForestClan, Hawktail met Striker and they hit off. Striker and Hawktail had a very long lasting relationship, it went on for 5 moons before Hawktail announced to him she was pregnant. But, her Clan was distraught and didn't like her relationship with the rouge. Elkstar gently told Hawktail that either Striker join the Clan or Hawktail was to be banished from ForestClan.
Hawktail had no idea what to do, while still deterred by her pregnancy, being far from the medicine cat wasn't a wise choice. She also couldn't bare to leave the Clan that she had been with since her kitting that early green-leaf morning oh so long ago. She decided that if Striker truly loved her, he would join the Clan for her sake, his and their kits that would be born soon.
A few moons later, Hawktail gave birth to her kittens. One died after it was born, lifeless by her side. She yowled in dismay and sorrow for this and never truly lost the image of that white, black and brown mix of a kitten sitting there lifeless. The other was a dark tabby, and Hawktail named her Tigerkit. The Clan was grateful for the new kit, as there hadn't been any for a few moons.
Later one afternoon Hawktail traveled to see Striker, she had brought along Tigerkit, she was two moons old now. After finding his den right outside the ForestClan boundary, she sat down with him and her kit. Striker stared down at Tigerkit, making her feel uncomfortable. Hawktail talked to him about what must be done or she would either leave him and they would never get to both watch Tigerkit grow up.
"Join...ForestClan?" Striker had queried after Hawktail had explained the problem. Hawktail nodded while Tigerkit played with her tail. Then, a meow come from the back of the bush.
"Striker? Who's there?" a pretty ginger cat meowed. She saw the two of them and her whiskers twitched.
"I'm...just going to hunt, I'll...but back later." she quickly meowed and left. Hawktail just stared at where the she-cat had left. Striker looked coldly at the same place.
"She is my new...mate." he meowed.
"Why? What had I done to you?" she wailed.
"You were too much of a hassle, be gone! That kit is no kit of mine, she can go to the Dark Forest for all I care!" he snarled, anger flared up inside him.
From that day, Hawktail became more subdued, and soon she all together ignored Tigerkit and just stared out into space. Whispers started, and it was decided that she was to be put in the elder's den because she was too out of it. That left Tigerkit to be taken cared of by one of the other queens that was expecting.
At her young age, she had no idea what had happened. Then, one day, she visited the elders. They spoke of the ancestors of all cats--StarClan. Tigerkit listened eagerly. They made them sound like the utmost amazing cats ever. She decided she would rid herself of a ll other things but to abide by StarClan's strict laws so she could make it up to the stars.
StarClan seemed powerful, and strong. Tigerkit thought they could heal her, she then started to see "starry warriors" come down and guide her through her kitten hood. She honestly believed that they were there, and that made her sure they would be there for any cat that left their old ways for them.
Apprenticeship:
As an apprentice, Tigerpaw trained harder than her denmates, always working her way up. She never spoke to anyone but her mentor, and still she was subdued. Tigerpaw only looked to the stars for guidance, and promised to never again be fooled by someone like her father.
The Clan thought she was harmless, just wallowing in self pity of what had fallen of her mother. But, she was actually scheming ways to make people listen to her. Then, she noticed the she-cat Mistpelt, and how strongly she believed in StarClan. Mistpelt was always talking to her fellow warriors about how wonderful they were and how we should follow their example.
From that day forward, Tigerpaw vowed to be just like Mistpelt. Her biggest wish was to join with Mistpelt and change her Clanmates to be like them. So, Tigerpaw continued her training, but her main goal was always to be like Mistpelt.
Then the day came when Cedarclaw rallied up cats to leave Brownstar. Tigerpaw had hated the way Brownstar had ruled the Clan, and left willingly with the rest of the cats. Another reason she went with them was because Mistpelt had, and she wanted to be with her influence to become the way she had.
Warrior:
While on the journey, Tigerpaw became Tigerheart. This had been her goal from the start, to mean something more to StarClan. Now she had proven to her self and to the wretched father of hers, she did me more than that piece of foxdung he cheated on his own family with.
When the time came for the large group of Clan cats, kittypets and rouges to sort out into different Clans, Tigerheart chose FogClan, she liked the mysterious land around it, and the area was perfect for her to spy on cats, to see if they truly had the spark that meant she could save them from the Dark Forest.
Currently, she is being dutiful to her Clan and showing herself to be a strong warrior. It all really started with her having that evil image of her father glaring down at her, for nothing. She had needed to prove herself, and then that became twisted into something dark.
Tigerheart, even in the new land, still thinks she sees false messages from StarClan. She thinks that when a cat is belong an intertwining piece of moss, that means they are true believers. A few times she had been wrong, but otherwise perfect success if making someone really wonder if their living a sinned life or not.
