[/b][/color] As you might have imagined, Crow will no longer be labelled as staff on v2, simply because we don't know where he is and we desperately need to move on and have an active staff team now. If he should ever reappear, his staff role is still there, waiting for him, should he want it. However, for now, he will not feature on the list. We're sad to have to do this, but we do it in the knowledge that he'd want the site to survive after his disappearance. We do adore him, and I think speak for everyone when I say that he is well missed.

How're you all? The staff are great :) As you may have guessed, v2 is going brilliantly. To give you an update, most of the important threads and rule changes have been implimented on v2, and there are but a few choice threads and changes left to be made. And, to top it all off, v2 now has a skin created collaboratively by yours truly and the wonderful ball of flame, Pyro. This skin should be only temporary, but hopefully it's decent enough for your standards :D
But anyway, things are going swimmingly well. We're not entirely sure when we'll release v2 publically. We may well be ready before June, however it's unlikely we'll do so because Rolo and other staff members have exams, which we need to focus on (much as we love you all!)
Anyway, as well as the site being made behind the scenes, we've had to start making the staff team from the ground up. Some of the key members have decided to stay on, but that still left some huge gaps in the line up.
First, to those who will not be staff on v2.
Crow:
Slug: Slug has confirmed that she no longer wishes to be staff when we move to v2. I stress that this is not through any bitterness from her towards the site, or any wish for her to move away from the site. Slug still adores the site and the members of FoF, however she has realised she has lost all muse for roleplaying and that it's not sensible for her to remain staff because of this. It was a well-thought out and entirely honourable decision, and the staff very much respect her for it. We will miss her in the staff team, but we highly hope she'll stick around in the c-box and chat once in a while :D
So, this leaves us with only 4 staff members. Rolo and Whiskers as admin (Whiskers has sworn she'll be back for summer). Hardy as moderator, Pyro as bio mod. However, this is blatantly not enough to launch a site, let alone run it. FoF, you may have noticed, always has a core team of 3 admins, who share the duties of running a site. With Whisker's preoccupied, it was obvious we needed to find one before v2 opened.
So, along came the heroic Pyro.
Pyro: From the moment she was employed as bio mod, it was pretty darn obvious that Pyro wouldn't remain one for long. She was too good for that. Showing brilliant organisational skills, initiative and with a genuine focus on her work, it was a no-brainer that she should become our next admin. I know you haven't seen a lot of her adminny skills yet, but trust me when I say that we couldn't find anyone better. She works perfectly beside Whiskers and I, and I already know this is going to make the new admin team incredibly strong. Pyro has already helped by aiding in the creation of v2, and I'm sure that, with her help, v2 will be a huge success!
In addition to this, the staff saw it fit to employ another member in an entirely new role of our creation. We're opportunists, you see, and this opportunity was too amazing to miss.
Cloudie has been a member here for quite a while now, and I'm sure any one of you knows that she has an impossible talent for remembering all the cats of FoF. Without us asking her to, she has already compiled her own version of the clan rosters and taken names, which most of the time is actually more updated than the real one. Such a talent hasn't gone unnoticed, and the staff knew that she'd be the perfect member to organise the rosters officially, so we employed her. Cloudie is going to be the first FoF Secretary. Her job will be to update the taken names, clan rosters, apprentice ages and anything else she sees fit to do. She will be on hand to answer questions about naming and canon, while remaining a 'member' without any authority over any members. She will simply be a member with a small organisational role :D The staff welcome her to the team and look forward to not having to update those freaking name threads XD. Do offer your congratulations to her!
So, to summarise, the lineup will be:
Admins: Rolo, Whiskers, Pyro
Moderators: Hardy
FoF Secretary: Cloudie
When v2 is established, we will be launching a search for both bio-mods and ordinary moderators to fill in the rest of the team :) If you're interested, be sure to audition when you get there :D
