The fallen trees sat one each other, criss-crossing to make many places in the pile to sit.
Spiderstorm sat, head down, looking at the grass. The wind slowly played in her fur, also going through the long grass. She put her nose up, smelling the crisp smell of late winter. She suddenly herd something run past her. Spiderstorm jumped, turning around with one swift move. She saw nothing.

ooc: Time to describe. > --x A massive mountain pile of fallen trunks criss crossing over eachother rested in a grassy clearing of upturned earth and scattered, broken roots of trees; making little hidey holes for plump prey or the average cat to sleep the days away. The sky was an ocean of blue; clouds flitting across the sky at a slow pace-- the breeze gental and calming as it danced around the area. A large, muscular short-haired red tabby sat on the cork-screw splintered trunk of an oak tree; it's bark covered body laying on top of all the others; branches pointing skyward-- though some curving against eachother to make a small, leafy den: the arms of the oak broken in a way by Redtail so he could rest easy in the shadows; light brown eyes gleaming amber in the darkness of his make-shift nest. With a rumbled sigh, Redtail curled around himself, tail twitching every so often as his thoughts ventured to his brother, Snarl. Where was he now? Was he laying at the bottom of the lake? Or was it possible... that he survived? A flash of fur interrupted his thoughts; Redtail's eyes widen and he promptly lept to his paws, lips curling back to show ivory fangs-- like thick needles, they were. Finally, after a moment of silence, he snapped: "Who is there?"

Spiderstorm sighed. She looked up to see the red tabby, sitting on one of the trees. "Spiderstorm." She grumbled. She looked down, and spoke in an a cruel sort of way. "Sorry if I scared you" She said. She looked up again, nearly blinded the powerful sun. She squinted, purring at the heat that finally came another year. She paused. "What are you doing here?" She whispered. She wasn't trying to be mean now, just curious. "Just making sure you are being a help to the clan, hunting and such."

Redtail scoffed. "Pah! I knew you were there all along; how could you have possibly scared me?" With a growl, Redtail leaped from the tree and onto the ground, only a few fox-tails away from Spiderstorm. "Redtail." He admited, "Redtail is my name, she-cat; so don't forget while you're hunting... and hunt many fish, you shall; they're my favorite." He licked his chops and grinned at Spiderstorm, revealing his fangs again.

Spiderstorm purred. "You try Redtail." Spiderstorm said, sitting down. She looked up and growled playfully. "You couldn't hurt a fly." She licked her chest and sighed again. "I'm not afraid." She looked up at him. Suddenly her face wasn't happy anymore. She closed her eyes. "Don't threaten me." She whispered. She jumped from her spot and leaped on a tree. She slowly walked around the fallen trees, waiting to find the best spot. She finally found a small hole, soft grass as the bed. She jumped into it and tucked her legs under her body. She yawned. "Maybe not for you, but I need some rest." She yowled loudly so Redtail could hear.

A growl rumbled in his throat, eyes narrowing to slits. "If it were not the fact you were my clanmate, Spiderstorm; have no doubt that I would not claw your ears off." He stated coolly, circling Spiderstorm like a hungry shark; watching the she-cat carefully-- as if she was a plump vole ready to be caught.
And eaten.
Soon, Redtail ceased his pacing; eyed Spiderstorm's hidey hole before joining her, finding a spot next to hers; though not as great as Spiderstorm's small hole of soft grass; mearly harsh twigs and leafs in his. "I threatend you many times, yet you do nothing about it; you have.... admitively great tolerance for me, Spiderstorm. Or perhaps you're angry underneath and good at hiding it. Maybe a little bit of both, ne?" He yawned, licking his chops at the same time before curling up.
"You would be a great ally in battle, Spiderstorm," Redtail murmured, eyes half-lidded as he stared out at nothing. "Along side with me, we could be greater warriors than the rest." Except for Snarl, Redtail thought. You will never be greater than my brother.

Spiderstorm looked next to her, she could only see a little bit of Redtail. She bit her lip, and jumped, feeling anger boil up inside of her. "I could do just fine in battle by myself!" She yowled, ignoring the her echoing voice. "I bet you are just jealous. Of all the great fighters in Streamclan. Maybe you are just scared though. Hoping that your clanmates can fight for you." She snapped. She jumped up to the log that was in the middle of them. She looked down. "Now. Before I really rip you up." She growled. Then she looked at the red tabby. It felt like he was hiding something. "You need to tell me something?" She joked. She jumped into the same hole as Redtail. She pressed into the tree. "Maybe I am not the only one who is good at hiding something." She glared at the tabby, soon purring.

"I never said you couldn't fight your own battle she-cat!" Redtail snarled, leaping to his feet, eyes narrowing to slits as he bared his fangs. "And I'm not jealous, just to make things clear!! I fight my own enemies, my own battles, my own war! I don't need help-- I have all the help with these babies." He growled, voice like barb-wire as his claws shot out, kneeding the ground. "They're all I need. Will ever need. Quit assuming things about me! You don't even know me!! We barely even talk to eachother-- if ever!" He hissed viciously, tail lashing about. "It may be hypocritical, Spiderstorm," Redtail started, crawling out of the hole. "But you went too far with your assumptions; I never said anything in any way that could have possible been acussing to you! And no-- I don't need to tell you anything!!." He snarled again, shaking himself from twigs as he leaped onto a trunk; stalking to the tree's branches and hid there; in the shadows of the leafs.
"If anything, she-cat, you need to realize that what goes around comes around-- mouse-brain. Just wait and watch karma bite your hide, Spiderstorm-- wait and watch."

Spiderstorm looked, from to her paws to the tops of the fallen trees. She sighed, as the wind swept by, making her plunge into the wall of trees. She jumped, and tried to follow his scent, and soon found a hole with him. She jumped down and licked his fur. She suddenly felt sorry, and guilty. She closed her eyes, and sat down, licking her chest. She looked at him. Maybe there wasn't anything to make fun of. She bit her lip, and whispered "I am sorry." She looked up, jumped and retreated from the huge pile of trees, waiting for a reply.
