-rolls in- Very sad to see some people not believe in god... well, may, if you believe in all god individually then it means you have no loyalty in them. God said to trust only him. It's like you are a Pineclan cat but you are loyal to stream clan meadowclan and fogclan the same amount for PineClan.

"I'll believe in god when the bible stops having loopholes and hypocracy laced throughout." -- I like how you assume god = Christian God -shrug- but okay. -- Actually, any god.
I don't believe I've ever been confronted with all these hypocrisies I hear about, which is strange, considering... anyway, give an example? -- How about the love thy neighbour but all homosexuals are going to hell so kill them shit? Or, hoho, "wrath is a sin" "the wrath of god" The bible says throughout ILY but if you don't love me then BURN.
"All 'Gods' appear to have multi-personality disorders. How intriguing." -- I don't think it's all that interesting that different people have different ways of relating events. -- So you believe every religious story was an actual event?
"I think stupid, selfish people wrote them as way to control the world." -- I want to ask if you're kidding but I have a sad feeling that you might not be. If somebody wanted to control the world, creating Christianity is the stupidest course of action. -- Not the world in that manner, Ten. I meant as a way to focus society into a direction. It had good intentions, clearly, for it put murder and stealing as sin, but it also used a lot of opinion-based morals such as homosexuality. Most of the bible is based on logic- seafood was a killer back then, which is why that was originally banned, and STD's had no cure, as well as the amount of homeless pregnant woman, so saying no sex before marriage had its own meaning too beyond what people give it nowadays.
"the sins of Jesus and the mistakes" -- Can you elaborate? -- Yes, I can. It was said by one of his disciples in a story that Jesus blinded a man when he was a child. I haven't ever heard that in the bible, but it's still an actual document.
"-rolls in- Very sad to see some people not believe in god..." -- Very sad to see some people still believe in god.

"How about the love thy neighbour but all homosexuals are going to hell so kill them shit?" -- o.o Where the heck does it say that? I know there are people who say that, but the Bible? It says homosexual offenders go to hell with thieves and murders, I know that much. Kill them, though? Is that one of those Old Testament passages?
"wrath is a sin" -- You're more credible when you show me exact passages, you know. Right now I'm thinking that's one of them Roman Catholic things.
"The bible says throughout ILY but if you don't love me then BURN." -- -shrug- ...yeah?
"So you believe every religious story was an actual event?" -- Every religious story? No. Every Christian religious story? No. Every Christian religious story recorded in the Bible? eh, I don't bother to think about it. A lot of them don't make any actual difference, you see.
"I meant as a way to focus society into a direction." -- ...and that's...bad...?
"so saying no sex before marriage had its own meaning too beyond what people give it nowadays" -- So you're saying that slutting around in the modern world no longer puts you at risk for disease or has any effect on your relationship or your psycology?
"It was said by one of his disciples in a story that Jesus blinded a man when he was a child" -- Okay... so I should take your word for that? Not that I doubt you much, mind you, but I don't see it as that horrific as a thing. I'm a callus individual at times, I'll admit.
"it's still an actual document" -- They couldn't include every single actual document that mentioned Jesus, you understand. The Bible is big as it is.
"Very sad to see some people still believe in god." -- While what she said was rude, this is rude too. I'm rather curious here - do I seem like the sort of naive, unquestioning simpleton who'd be easy to brainwash?

Very sad to see some people still believe in god
--x--
Why? God is what I call Powah. God can kill you and bring you to a grave yard this second. And you might wanna say "then why isn't he doing it now?" Then I will say "Cuz he loves you"
And if you say "eww..." then he might. (jk)
I can't belive that you are not even thankful to Jeus that he died for OUR stinky sins.
Anyways, Ten, do you belive in GOD?

Ravyn, I'm afraid that speaking like that will not be tolerated. I can see that you are very passionate about your beliefs, however you must let people have their own opinions. If Essie doesn't believe in God, let her and don't say she is doing something wrong. It is her beliefs, after all.
This topic is for the discussion of beliefs, it is not a fight between people or a way of changing other people. You may state your beliefs but if you say things like 'sad that you don't believe in God' that is seen as an insult. Please do not do it again or I will have to stop you from posting in this board.

Personally, I believe that though there are hundreds of thousands of gods and goddesses in many different religions, it's everyone's different interpritation of the same god in all. Probably a good example of what I believe is the common God, Allah, God. God is the same person in both Christianity and Judaism and Allah is the same person but in Islamic ideals. But then again, Christianity and Islam were based off of Judaism, but I believe you get my ideal in religion now.
