Not the world in that manner, Ten. I meant as a way to focus society into a direction. It had good intentions, clearly, for it put murder and stealing as sin, but it also used a lot of opinion-based morals such as homosexuality. Most of the bible is based on logic- seafood was a killer back then, which is why that was originally banned, and STD's had no cure, as well as the amount of homeless pregnant woman, so saying no sex before marriage had its own meaning too beyond what people give it nowadays.

Ravyn, I'm afraid that speaking like that will not be tolerated. I can see that you are very passionate about your beliefs, however you must let people have their own opinions. If Essie doesn't believe in God, let her and don't say she is doing something wrong. It is her beliefs, after all.

This topic is for the discussion of beliefs, it is not a fight between people or a way of changing other people. You may state your beliefs but if you say things like 'sad that you don't believe in God' that is seen as an insult. Please do not do it again or I will have to stop you from posting in this board.

Personally, I believe that though there are hundreds of thousands of gods and goddesses in many different religions, it's everyone's different interpritation of the same god in all. Probably a good example of what I believe is the common God, Allah, God. God is the same person in both Christianity and Judaism and Allah is the same person but in Islamic ideals. But then again, Christianity and Islam were based off of Judaism, but I believe you get my ideal in religion now.
