Nah. I wouldn't think so.
I'm wondering about people's thoughts on morality and sanity, that's all. I so often see misconceptions regarding these two subjects - that evil and crazy are the same, or that evil does not exist, or that people do evil things without reasons just because they're evil people.
Of course, the root of the issue is the lack of understanding of this concept: no one does anything without a reason.
You all understand, do you not, the differences between crazy and evil?

Of course evil and crazy are not the same! Just evil people are more likely to be crazy!

While I don't like labeling the entire person as evil... how do you get that?

I actually believe that only the mad are truely sane. We may call ourselves "normal" but there is a slight problem, nobody knows the true defination of "normal" and what qualifies you to be "normal". Also, even if we knew the limits of normality, I'm sure not many, if not anyone could reach that point.

I see you're a philosopher, not a psychologist.

nah, if you lived with my parents, then you would end up believing that only by being with them.

"if you lived with my parents" --
Oh, so you're just regurgitating what your parents feed you? I supposed I shouldn't expect more than that.

My dad thinks he's perfectly normal, except maybe that he is obsessed with how people drive and will point out any errors they make to me, and my mother, well, she's having some trouble with the fairies that live in our basement right now...

Yes. Crazy is a deviation from social norm, or ideal mental health, or failure to function adequately, by definition. I believe evil is not something a person can be, but an act.

When someone is crazy, they can do things that aren't acceptable, such as killing someone because they think they're under attack or whatever, but that doesn't make them evil. I don't think any one person is evil or has the capacity to be completely and entirely evil. Unless you're Jeffery Daumer. But I think he was also rather psychotic, so there was no point in me bringing that up.
