Are you entirely sure that she /has/ settled? Because normally it takes months and months at a time to just be sure, not just a couple of weeks. Because daemons( i still am too lazy to use the ae sign. |: ) might favor a form for a few weeks or even a month or two, but then change again. xD From what I've read, some people may never be sure of when their daemon settles: it's about around the same time when the person's personality settles, apparently.

okay so i don't know anything about daemons or whatever. but i've sat through some of crow's ranting about you guys and it made me a little curious. Cx i don't want one coz it sounds a bit creepy to me, but i'm probably gonna do research anyway.

how do you know? if it's only be two weeks... i mean, didn't crow say he's had his for several years and still is unsure? two weeks is a pathetic amount of time, cloudie, and you're really young. :c i don't think you should jump to conclusions like this.

I've had Rio since...seventh grade I wanna say. When we first 'met' he was a red fox named Raka (prompting our consideration now of the full name Rioraka). During that year he split into many different imaginary friends with varying names until ninth grade when I found out about daemons and he condensed himself into one form. From that point on we were able to focus on forms that made sense.

I thought he settled several times. Almost thought I was a hyena because he stayed that way for a month and a half. Almost thought I was a red panda for the same reason. Almost thought I was a few other animals as well. Point is, sometimes your daemons explore a form a little longer than you'd expect would be necessary for them to decide if it fits you or not. I think the reason for this is that many traits of that form may match you and they need time to decide if the more in depth ones do as well.

So. Mil may or may not be settled. Only true time will tell. What I often do when I think Rio may be settling is research the animal myself, not just go by the analysis. I try to get a feel for the animal, what it eats, how it lives, how it behaves, even how it acts with its young. Every little thing. I reread the analysis as much as possible. I think about things. I ask myself, do I do this? I may go to someone I trust and ask them if they think I ___ when ___ happens, etc.

Me: Sigh....I don't know. I thought so, I think so. I'm so uncertain. I want to think so, I just don't know. Yet who can know? Help is good...can't trust myself anyway.

Kharn and I have been through a lot recently and now I can safely say that he is the most unhelpful grouch I have ever met. xD We're taking herding dog forms now but I almost never project him as a corgi or english shepherd; hyenas and tazzy devils and vultures are so much more cooler.
